I was at my local vape shop today and some guy said you should wait 30 seconds between vapes to let the coil cool down? True or false? I noticed I get more puffs out of a tank the first few tanks and then it drops considerably. The guy was saying its due to chain vaping because the coil was getting hotter. I'll take a few puffs with less then 30 seconds in between and then have at least a minute break in between those. Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated.

When I am under stress, I tend to chain vape - just like I chain smoked when I used cigarettes. My vape is almost always in my hand. I have to remind myself to watch how I draw - I have gotten a few dry hits and burnt a few coils by drawing too hard when I was upset. I also have to remind myself to let it rest for a minute or two to give the eliquid time to get back down to the coil.

you're chain vaping either get used to it...change the way you vape...or use premade coils and get used to buying them every few weeks or months if you buy online in big bulk.

i chain vape aswell constantly on it...doing a rebuildable as a chain vaper is annoying and burns the wick often because it can't wick as fast as you pull...went to premade coils heaven for me as i can chain vape peacefully but i need to change a new coil every week maybe even less if i literally smoke constantly (i overused a quad coil for my TFV4 in 5 days) but make sure to prime these premades....if you don't want to do premades you gotta either stop chaining or get used to the burned lol...i personally suggest the premades less work...if money isn't really and issue i really suggest premades.

Thanks @Sidsgothem coils are lasting me a good 7 days I'm happy with that. I don't get people that complain that they are expensive. 20 for a five pack it's still way cheaper then smoking.

I just vape however I like to and adjust my setup accordingly. Never have issues with the coil getting too hot and I chain vape all day long.

For me the opposite is true. Rebuildables = chain vaping heaven. Premade = hell.

you're prob running a weird set up then...isn't really normal to chain vape atleast the way i imagine chain vaping and using a rebuildable o.0 but i'm not really into that side of vaping so who knows. any chance of a pic of your set up? and what you're running?

i'm doing 30ml a day...so i'm a serious chain vaper...i've never really had success as a chain vapor and doing a rebuildable : /

I don't run any weird setups. Right now I'm vaping away on a Lemo 2 at 50w. No matter how many drags I take I don't have problems and I'm not running it in tc mode either, though I could if i wanted to.

Right now I run 2 tanks, a 0.2 ohm SS herakles plus pre-made and a 0.53 ohm 26g 316L in a subtank mini rba v1.

I can chain vape the Subtank at 25w all day long, but I need 40-50w for the H+ and if I chain vape it the tank heats my cuboid to high heaven. Not so bad on my segelei 150w, but I love using tc.

Anxiously awaiting my Griffen 25mm hoping I can build it to chain vape around 30w with SS dual coil.

 I don't do 30ml in a week. Hope you are DYIing your own juice.

nope buying premium from local B&M and still saving much more money than i spent on smoking so i'm still happy i'd DIY if i could get the Flavors from a local store but i can't seem to find any stores that have flavors so yeah...lol

You are missing out! It cost like $1 per 30ml bottle to diy.

Dunno where your from. I'm guessing the states. You should check out DIY E-Liquid, Electronic Cigarettes and Wholesale Nicotine & E-Cig Juice | EcigExpress. They have everything you need to diy and free shipping over $60 (within the states)

What are you using that you need to wait 30 seconds between draws?

I used to hotbox evods, and can chain vape Nauti minis and Aspire Cleitos for minutes on end without them overheating. Kanger sub tanks for some reason not so much....
@Hotwire i am using Joyetech cuboid with either my crown tank or cleito tank. I also never noticed it over heating. The guy who mentioned this to me was just a customer at the store don't think he knew what he was talking about!

The flavor depends on what flavoring you put in. Their are a lot of good ones, but some bad ones around too.

I haven't bought premade juice in awhile but I find my diy juice taste better. The time I bought premade juice was over 2 years ago so, im sure the premades gotten better since then... still as expensive though.
