Depending on how much burntness there is, that may be too late for some coils.... Usually, when I get even a *hint* of burntness, my coil is done. I just figured out that with my Kabuki tank, the coils seem to go dead on flavor completely before burning out. I really thought there was something going on with my dentures and taste issues, but there was not. I did up my flavorings in response, thinking I had less surface area in my mouth... But nope, it was my coil!
That being said, different coils can tolerate different things, so you may be able to figure out the "sweet spot" wattage wise for your juice after turning it up extremely slowly, and then seeing where that taste occurs, it will give you a better idea of what wattage(s) work for your juice and coils, and extend coil life if you are keeping the vape cooler. This kind of makes sense *to me*.
Best of luck,
Anna
