What does 'stacking batteries' mean?

This actually is not true. Current always flows in a loop; both batteries see the same current. However, the top one usually is subjected to extra heat (from the atty) so rotating them helps even out the imbalance due to heating.

So can we please stop saying there is no reason? There obviously may be a reason for some set ups for some people. (Pay attention to what I said about a dual 1.5Ω, if 4.5v wasn't enough for me I don't imagine it would be enough for anyone.)

He does a test earlier with the PWM. I'm not sure if he did the test on earlier Vamos or if I forgot but I was wrong (at last for the V5). In stacked mode the PWM is hitting at higher than 6v so it is not always stepping down, at least not as far as what is being delivered although it is as far as what your setting is according to what PWM is equal to (and confusion sets in).

I checked, I can put the tubes from my two V3's together and stack two 18650s. It also makes a nice walking stick.

I stack two 18350s in my Sigelei Zmax V5 because it's the only way it'll give me more than about 5W (it's rated at a max 15W). It's a regulated MOD and when set to RMS, it doesn't boil my juice. Stack ONLY in regulated MODs and always use and charge the same two batteries together so that they both are always charging and discharging together (married batteries of the exact same brand and mAh). This prevents one from dangerously over-discharging. As a precaution, I always test both when they come out of the MOD and off of the charger with a multimeter to very they're at the same charge/discharge level. Buy two and always use them together in a regulated MOD.....only of you can't get the desired wattage out of one and ONLY if it's a MOD that is designed for it (ie: in the instructions for it).
