I have been off cigarettes for 18 months now. All I got to say is I rather be smoking then to have this weight on and the other things I feel now. I have talked to many others that quit and feel the same way as I do now.

I get so depressed because of the weight gain. By the way I weight 147 but used to weigh 121. I want to go to starve myself but I can not because my stomach hurts. When I eat I get depressed! I don't even want to look at myself because I can't stand how I look now. I am totally disgusted with this all.....

Quitting smoking is good for one but I am not happy with the results.

I am reading around on this forum and thinking of buying some of these ecigs.... At this time I am wondering what kind to buy and if I should get them with a little nicotine in them or none.

What kind is best for a newbie to buy?

toothfairy -- I'm sorry, I'm afraid I assumed you had switched to vaping! (Ignore my comment about smokeless tobacco for the moment -- it's really intended for those who find vaping isn't enough for their mood/mental state, which is a small minority.)

If you are considering going back to smoking, I urge you to give e-cigarettes a try. The nicotine and the act of "smoking" will help you a lot in improving mood and avoiding weight gain.
(At least, I know there was no way I could give up cigarettes for long without this alternative!)

I really suggest you read The Wonderful World of Vaping, and read up as much as you can stand. :) Many people on the New Members Forum have asked similar questions and gotten good answers -- without knowing your particular needs it's hard to say which kit to start with.
Of course, if you have questions of your own, feel free to ask them -- this is a really helpful community. There's a learning curve with e-cigs that we all went through, but I think you'll find it's a really satisfying way to go.

I will never smoke a real cigarette ever again as I would never do that to myself again even though I feel like this... but when I quit these e-cigs were not out or I would be vaping on one thats for sure.... so since I feel like this and I am so depressed at the weight gain I figured that I might as well try these e-cigs out....

I went to the link you gave me... (thank you) and wanted to see pictures of all of the different kinds but the link did not work in the photo section.
