so i started a new job at a place which sells industrial ultrasonic parts cleaners for auto shops and stuff, i kept thinking to myself i can not wait to clean an atty in this beast and today i got my chance. My atty wasnt that dirty and is relativly new but i wanted to try it out. Its a 510 2.0 ohm atty which no longer has any paint on it haha. after a few minutes in the ultrasound i rinsed it with water and set it in my truck to dry. after a few hours i stick it on my batt and am getting orange glow pretty quick so i assumed it was dry. even gave it a good 30 sec burn to help dry it. but when i started vaping it i noticed the performance has dropped dramatically! could it have not been dry enough? will water in my atty make it not vape very well? The ultrasounds use only soapy water and run at 160 deg F which i dont think can harm my atty. any ideas?

Did you wash the soap out before you left it to dry?? you have to make sure you blow all the water out general rule is most people leave them to dry out for 24 hr or use a blow dryer to speed up the process. id rinse it really well and try again. Ive seen lots of people post that they have had good out comes with ultra sonic cleaning but it was just in water or a mixture of water and PGA.. good luck

I used to clean my atomizers when i first started vaping. After awhile it just wasnt worth the effort. It is definetly a hit or miss with cleaning them. Just remember a few things:

Use the same atomizer for the same or similar juice....if you use an atomizer to test every flavor of juice..it has a better chance of failing. Thicker, darker, sweeter juices kill an atomizer faster. Dry burning an atomizer will help revive it....but there is also a chance it will pop.
