And you, my dear, were the very first one to welcome me to the forum, so I know your heart is pure. I'll also admit to snickering at some of the back and forth.....but I think he was well within his rights to post his opinion that you don't HAVE to spend a lot of money to find something that works. He just didn't handle it very suavely....is that a word?

Aw youre making me blush.

And yeah, he makes (the proximity of) a good point. I just like macking on people once in a while for my own selfish amusement.

Its not what he said, its the way he said it. Isnt that girls catchphrase? i kid i kid.

how is the provari? i want to get one so bad....

I absolutely ADORE mine, but I made a very carefully researched decision. This included actually trying one first. That's the lesson to learn from this thread - Don't spend any money you can't afford to flush on anything if you don't have a good idea that it will do what you want. And if you're sure you want it, shop around for the best price (but finding a Provari for less than Provapes price is like finding the Holy Grail).

Been checking out all the posts on seems like hundreds of websites recommending this high-dollar e-cig or another. Stupidly bought one of the "high-dollar" e-cigs. Don't waste your money. My cheapo E cig that I can refill cartomizers (never worry about one burning up because they're so cheap) work great, smoke great, taste great, and produce way more "smoke" than the high-dollar, high maintenance piece of hype that I wasted $70 on. My advice to newbies, save your money, refill cartos--I've yet to have one burn out, takes about 5 minutes to refill 10, and 1 lasts all day. Will see how long this post stays up.

Ur advice to the newbies is good. Yes, in the starting phase of switching-over a cig-a-like is enough, cost-effective, hassle-free & wise. However, ur 'tone' is not right... it casts aspersions... on the forum, it's mods, as well on many senior (or otherwise) members here who r genuinely trying to assist us, and voluntarily too.

The fact remains that if u've paid that figure for an eGO-T, its definitely a blunder on ur part. And if it was an eGO-C-Twist, it's near but still too much. While both the concepts (a 1st-Gen Cig-a-like and a 3rd-Gen mod) r incomparable, today both r nearly priced the same... at least the usual, general, initial Mods... and some r cheaper than the cig-a-likes as well!

That said, if the Green Smoke config satisfies u -- that's nice, each to his/her own. But it could also be told in a tad suaver way I guess, rather than on war footage. And this forum imparts that knowledge, 'exposing' us to the variables/vagaries of e-Cigs, without 'imposing'. Which is why, if u stick-along here some more, u'd know that there r better options to that Green Smoke (the one u divulged later) as well, in the same size, format & price-range, but giving way better satisfaction.

But, who am I to judge!

Dave triple O, I do hope you come back long enough to see that while the responses haven't all been kind, your freedom of speach hasn't been surpressed......we may not all agree (hell, do more than 3 of us agree on anything?), but this is a place to voice opinions. Well, with the exception of things of an illegal nature. That will get you deleted in a heartbeat, so I hear!

I would say this to the OP.

Come back, try again... Try to be nice and civil and relate your experience in a friendly way, and watch how quickly everyone's demeanor changes. This forum wasn't known to me when I first made the switch to vaping. I used kr808's for a couple months and then frustration with short batt life caused me to go back to smoking for almost 6 months.
Then....I found ECF.

The members and the info here helped me get a nearly bulletproof setup and juice delivery devices that practically blow my head off. You get out of this place what you put into it, same with your gear & equipment.

So.....let's forget the harsh feelings and try again? This is a great group once you get to know them, we just don't like mean comments or trolling.

If you are any type of heavy smoker you will get fed up with cigalike batteries just like a lot of us have. I know at one time I had 4 chargers going because they take forever. I only recommend things that I have used for quite awhile and I don't want to spend any more than I have to. Using prefilled cartos wastes money faster than anything I've tried.

Let me extend my apologies to those who I might have po'd by yesterdays posts (never post on sites when you in a bad mood to start with, my fault).

With that said, how I do enjoy a spirited conversation, seriously. No harm, no foul, and no ill will meant towards the people I might have made "snarky" comments to. I "may" get a little carried away a times?

Thanks for feedback-- Really!

Just what about the eGo was crap?
Was it that it was too much money for what you got (most of us would agree with that) or was it that it did not perform well (if so, in what way specifically)?
What did you use on top of the eGo? a cart, tank, clearo?

Hi eHuman--Probably not so much what I have (and payed too much for, I can live with that) is crap, more a frustration trying to figure out how it will smoke the best (owner's manual is not much help). Have "started" to figure it out now, but continues to be a work in progress. Oh, by the way, Ego-T,tank. I tried to look through this and other forums to make an "educated" purchase. Only problem is in addition to the many differentiations I have seen just for the Ego's (different batteries, atomizers, tank systems, cartos, voltages, etc..), not to mention the other brands, it's, to say the least totally confusing. So, I guess I just tried to make sense out of it all and bought the Ego. Would be great if people on this forum would post exactly what they have (for us new to this) and mods they may have made. In other words, here's my "setup"-- you need to get this, this, and this...and you'll have an identical setup (and here's roughly what it would cost). Unfortunately, some of us "not so well informed" are forced go online and buy whatever comes in a kit. For us new people, it's kind of like buying a car at base package, and then trying to figure out what options to add if you want it to be something high performance and quite possibly expensive, or maybe, going with fewer options that will make it perform pretty well, without the big price tag. Sorry so wordy--that's as condensed as I can make it. Hope this makes sense!

A lot of people have trouble with the Ego-T tanks, in fact I don't know too many people that actually use them due to poor performance, leaking etc. Perhaps there are a few in here that still use them and they can give you some advice to help in that regard.

I hate to tell you to buy something new, because I realize that you feel you wasted money on the ego kit. But I promise you if you get the right attachment for it, i.e. a Kanger T3, EVOD, or even a vivi nova it will blow away the greensmoke both vapor and flavor wise. Do you have juice already? How many cartomizers are you going through with the greensmoke per day?

The Kanger T3 or Kanger EVOD are both fairly cheap, around 5-6$ you could give them a try. The Vivi Novas are around 10-15$. Depending on how much juice you go through a day would depend on which one I would recommend to you, that and if you want to carry a bottle of juice around with you for refills lol.

I hear you. Problem is, more people give advice than should. From someone with limited experience but happy to share, to someone who thinks everyone should start with a $250 mod. What you have will work fine, start a new thread with specific questions now that you know enough to know what to ask.

"This is what I have, this is where I'm struggling, tips and trick to get the most out of this gear?"

I'm confused is he saying Green smoke is cheap and Ego twists are overrated? If so nice marketing strategy I guess.

yea apparently $60 is "cheap" and $70 is expensive.
don't ask me

And if he's mad at anyone he should be the vendors, no one here told him to buy greensmoke
or pay $70 for a $40 max ego kit.

OP I think what everyone is trying to say is, "be nice and ask around before you spend any of your coin." If you do that I am sure we can help you avoid at least some of the conversion frustrations. You just have to remember what works for one person may not work for someone else. We all went through it, I wish I had known about this forum about a year ago. Would've saved me quite a few headaches...
