Hello everyone, I've been vaping since Feb 11 2014... I started on a kanger evod and clearomizer. And soon after moved up to the protank 2with air flow adjuster and an itaste MVP...I've been using this set up for a long while now and am very interested in trying to drip!
Now just so your aware I don't know much about building or amps/Watts ect....
Now my question is what a decent beginner dripper set up? I'd still be using the MVP battery
:D

You are going to need to learn a bit of Ohms law. The mvp has a amp cutoff of 3 amps so when you build coils, the resistance will have to be around 1.3 or higher. Didnt do the math just a ballpark figure. You will need an rda or dripping atomizer. I would probably recommend a magma as you probably want the most flavor you can get. You are going to need some kanthal wire as well as a wick material. cotton, rayon, silica etc. whatever you prefer.

New to dripping myself so I probably should not advise on the dripper you should get. I will say, once I started dripping, my juice consumption probably doubled. The flavor and clouds are so good that I do not mind this added expense.

Another couple of things noticed, a drop in the % of nicotine in the juice was OK and I also like a higher % of VG for dripping.

If you'd like to try dripping without getting into the whole rebuilding aspect of it, you can always use disposable drippers... basically they are just old school cartos...

Give this a read through:
The Ocelot's Guide to Dripping
Drip, Drip, Drip - The Sound of Dripping

Then go buy a few of these and give dripping a try... if you really enjoy it, then maybe you'll want to look into the whole rebuildable side of things...
Disposable 510 Drippers
510 Standard Resistance Dripping Atomizer
Bridgeless 510 Atomizer, 2 ohms

Once you start dripping you'll never go back IMO. One of the main reasons I started dripping personally was due to the fact I no longer felt comfortable using Chinese made coils. Take the new Aspire BVC coils for example, you have no idea what exactly is in their new ceramic wicking material and even with the screen over the coil it's possible you could inhale ceramic particulate (again this is my :2c:).

Bottom line, I feel much safer dripping and using a coil and cotton wick I personally built, plus it tastes soooo much better. I actually look forward to building coils now and have to force myself not to so I can save kanthal.

Just be forwarned the Magma is a fantastic RDA, love mine but it is usually a bit warmer vape than some others. If you don't like a warm vape then might no be for you

I just switched to dripping from an Aspire Nautilus with BVC coils. It really is a whole different world. Much smoother, cleaner vapor and tons more flavor. My BM shop in Fairfield, CT (Sovereign Vapors) built my first coil for me, with organic japanese cotton. They also recommended the Enigma V3 by MKVape which is working great. Don't think i'll ever be able to go back to regular tanks and coils! :) It's awesome!
