Hello and welcome to today's review of the VMATE i2 Pod device from Voopoo. The VMATE i2 is one of the simplest and easy vape device to date, there are no buttons to press or adjust although you do have fully adjustable airflow. Wattage is adjusted automatically via the smart wattage in it's chipset, this is also a auto draw only device. Inside is a 1500mAh internal battery that is wattage only with a max wattage of 30 watts. The pod has a capacity of 3ml and uses side fill via the rubber plug. There is only one pod included in this kit which is a big con for me, this will be on the shorter length of a review because almost everything is automatically adjusted for the user.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS


The packaging is simple as is the device is with the device and only pod being attached resting in a plastic tray, below them is the USB-C charge cord and user manual and a vaping tips card. I was sent the Rosy pink version again, ( I don't know why Voopoo would send a man a Pink device ).

Before testing I charged the device to full capacity and that's when I noticed the RGB color bar light that acts as the battery meter, I personally don't care for this type of battery meter myself preferring a battery bar or and % readout but this device has no display screen to show that.

Pulling the pod off to look inside the connection area there are 2 visible magnets and the pod will attach itself when close to the opening, a snug fit is achieved with a firm push of the pod forming a secure connection. The auto draw nozzle can be seen between the two contact points of the device.

On the bottom is the USB-C connection port so the device has to be laying flat to charge, the bottom is also very narrow and tips over easily so it should lay flat always anyway.

The front of the device is where the airflow adjustment is located , below it the VMATE i2 name is stamped on the device with a pleasing pattern of lines.

The back of the device has the same pattern of lines with VOOPOO stamped in the center.

The RGB battery meter is located on one side of the device and illuminates when vaped or the charge cord or pod is connected . The battery RGB strength bar is listed below.

The pod that's included has a capacity of 3mls and offers side fill via the rubber plug. On the rubber plug a 0.7Ω mark is embossed and is clearly visible.

FINAL IMPRESSIONS


First and foremost I have to give this device it's only con and it's because only one pod is included, a new vaper might be in a hurry and forget to fill it and burn the coil up and now that person is screwed because of their mistake. It's also possible that a bad pod could slip past QC. (IT HAPPENS)

With that out of the way everything else about the device is all positive, flavor is very good and the auto draw works well and wattage setting on the 0.7Ω pod feels right. I'm glad Voopoo stayed with a lightly tinted pod, it makes juice viewing a breeze.

This device is so simple it almost vapes itself and is a perfect device for a new vaper needing only to charge it and adjust airflow, everything else is already be set up for the user.
