The packaging shows the manufacturer's brand on the front which is located at the top just below the name of the device, on the right we find an image of the device, on the bottom left there is the writing "Designed By VooPoo". The name of the device appears on the back of the box at the top, the contents of the package are listed below, followed by the address, contact details and the inevitable warnings on the use of nicotine. The two long sides contain; the bar code, the anti-counterfeiting Scratch and Check and the main features in the form of icons.

► Drag S2; First Impressions:
In the past I had the honor and pleasure of previewing the genesis of the various Drag devices starting from the original Drag X & S by VooPoo up to the current Drag S2 & Drag X2. I therefore feel lucky once again to be able to offer you my personal opinions on this new update of these lucky Mods/Pods that have had and continue to have so much success. The use of a new tank with airflow at the top should avoid leaks, the timeless and high-performance PnP coils have been replaced by the new PnP X coils which are slightly larger and better performing. As I anticipated, the style with renewed decorations marries a proven and successful form factor derived from the previous Drag pod Mod series and in daily use users will certainly be able to appreciate the remarkable ergonomics, the accurate design is perfect to adapt perfectly to the palm of the hand. The Mod is equipped with an integrated 2,500mAh cell, the weight is quite low, furthermore the finishes are of a high standard as VooPoo has long accustomed us to. Drag S2 Kit is available with two different types of PnP X cartridges; the version exposed in this review is specific for the Italian, French and German markets.
I received the Pearl White color version of the Drag S2 for this test. This All-In-one kit features a sturdy zinc alloy frame construction, the leatherette trim is bound with elegant exposed stitching. On the side you can see the writing "Drag S2" on one side and on the opposite side the writing "Gene TT".
On the back, the large DRAG writing hot-stamped onto the leather that distinguished this family has disappeared in favor of a more sober and clean design. The aesthetic impact of the handle with rhomboidal motifs suggests a comfortable and comfortable grip.
The base has a semi-circular shape covered in soft silicone to increase silence when resting on surfaces, furthermore the silicone grip keeps the device stable in an upright position even during charging.
Drag S2 uses a vibrant 0.96-inch full-color (TFT) screen that clearly displays vaping data and offers the ability to display two different layouts; Yellow background (Smart function) with automatic power setting, Light blue background for RBA mode with free power setting, green background for Eco mode to save cell energy during use. The 2A Type-C socket and the "+" and "-" keys are located in a classic and convenient position below the display. The S2 version reaches a maximum power of 60W.
► Drag S2; Operation Guide:
• On/Off: Press the Fire button 5 times.
• Lock/Unlock: Press the Fire and "+" buttons together, the product cannot be used during the lock function.
• Menu: Press the "+" and "-" buttons together then press "+" or "-" to select the setting then confirm with a tap on the Fire button.
• Smart mode (yellow background color) automatically detects the resistance and directly sets the power in the recommended use range, avoiding errors and damage to the coil.
• RBA mode (light blue color) allows the user to set the power manually.
• Eco mode (green background color) allows you to optimize the battery charge by prolonging the use time of the device.
• Software Update: Consumers have access to update to the latest software version on the official VOOPOO website (www.voopoo.com), requiring the specific USB Type-C cable that comes with the product. The side of the Type-C cable marked with "▲" should be
facing downwards. Keep your device fully charged to perform the operation.
► Drag S2; Compartment/Pod:
The top side inside the compartment shows two gold/plated pins and a metal ring that acts as a support base for the cartridge to ensure correct magnetic contact.
► PnP X MTL/DTL Cartridge:
For Italy, France and Germany, this kit adopts a PnP PnP X MTL/DTL carthridge is available in colors (black / gray / silver).
The shape of the two Drip Tips seems really right to me, the one for DTL (pre-installed) is low and wide for deep suctions, the one for MTL is narrow and long with a pleasant rubberized coating of soft consistency.
► Top adjustable airflow:
The two upper airways of the pod are opposed and are designed to be partitioned for MTL use or to be opened wide for maximum DTL air flow, the graduated line helps to precisely adjust the air flow according to your needs. Furthermore, the superior airflow system offers a satisfying experience by ensuring balanced internal and external air pressure, completely eliminating the possibility of leaks.
The cartridge has a capacity of 5ml (2ml TPD) and refilling takes place laterally by lifting the classic silicone rubber. The cartridge is magnetically attached to the device, which simplifies installation and removal. All PnP X platform coils are designed with directional insertion into the PnP
► PnP X Coils Platform and vape test:
The new line of PnP X coils is made up of different resistors for a power between 20 and 100 W+. At the moment this line is compatible with two different cartridges, only for DRAG S2 and DRAG X2 and is not compatible with PnP platform cartridges. VooPoo has specifically created PnP X coils with fourth generation atomization technology to remain at the top of performance in terms of flavor, but also in search of maximum durability. The specific thermostable cotton is carefully distributed in the spacing and thickness of the fibers over the mesh of the PnP According to VooPoo, the result obtained is sensational and up to 4 times higher than other coils, these new resistors would be able to support the use of 100ml of e-liquid or accompany you for an entire season (90 days) with a package of 5 coils, enormously reducing the frequency and costs of replacement. Furthermore, the VOOPOO PnP X coil can be used with various e-liquids in the PG:VG ratio of 7:3 or 5:5. In the Drag S2 package for the Italian, French and German markets we will therefore find two PnP X coils of 0.3 and 0.6Ω included.
• 0.30Ω PnP X Coil:
With the Smart function activated the Gene TT chip automatically selects the optimal power of 35W for this coil, of course you can lower the power or raise it up to a suggested limit of 40W. The extraordinary reactivity of the mesh allows for satisfactory use even with very low selected powers, however the recommended 35W really seems to be perfect for the best balance between performance and life of the 2,500mAh battery. VooPoo indicates the use of the DTL Drip Tip (the low and wide one) in combination with this coil, however for my tastes I had a certain indecision to understand which is the best drip tip to use with this coil. In fact, the MTL Drip Tip (the long and narrow one) is really effective for obtaining a strong hit (hit in the throat) or for lowering the power even below 30W and without losing flavor concentration. Certainly the low and wide Drip Tip combined with generous AFC openings allows you to make the most of the potential of this coil which proves to be very generous in terms of vapor emission and aromatic yield. Vaporization is always fluid and free of spitting even by restricting the air flow, furthermore even when using maximum power the heat generated is really low and you won't get any discomfort on your lips.
• 0.60Ω PnP X Coil:
With the Smart function activated the Gene TT chip automatically selects the optimal power of 20W for this coil, of course you can lower the power or raise it up to a suggested limit of 23W. The extraordinary reactivity of the mesh allows for satisfactory use even with very low selected powers, however the recommended 20W really seems to be perfect for the best balance between performance and life of the 2,500mAh battery. VooPoo indicates the use of the MTL Drip Tip (the long and narrow one) in combination with this coil. I confirm that the MTL drip tip performs the task perfectly, lovers of MTL shots can partialize the air flow down to the minimum levels, even completely closed and will always obtain a fluid and clean shot without spitting. So the MTL performance is definitely satisfying, with a good hit load. This coil made me literally fall in love with the new coffee flavor that I purchased, the flavor is really robust and concentrated compared to other types of coils that I normally use.
► Drag S2; Final conclusions:
Drag S2 kit represents the return of the classic leather and metal design that combines enclosures and quality with materials that are pleasant to the touch and perfect ergonomic shapes that offer a more comfortable vaping experience. DRAG S2 has a maximum power of 60W with a new bright and clear user interface, managed by the new Gene.TT 2.0 chip, which intelligently processes the best power and offers 3 modes: Smart, RBA and ECO. The included 2500 mAh battery offers long life, in fact with Drag S2 I achieved 345 puffs at a constant 20W with the 0.6Ω coil, the time for a complete battery charge was around 90 minutes. Gene TT offers a balanced and stable discharge curve, even with very low battery charge levels I did not notice any drops in power. The new PnP trade can fully meet user demands for consistent and rich taste.
