Hello folks and welcome to todays review of the vape gear mentioned in the title. Some of you might be saying that I reviewed all of the gear already and you would be correct, Voopoo is going the start releasing the Argus XT/MT and Argus GT2 in kit form with the Uforce-L tank and asked if I could revisit all three once more. I was sent the Argus XT MOD and the Argus GT2 in kit form with the Matt tank as well as another Uforce-L tank and it will be featured with both device in this review. I will try and condense this lengthy review as much as possible for you but I will give a spoiler alert on the Uforce-L Tank and the new PNP coils for it in just 2 words ( FLAVOR MONSTER )! ! !

A little Deja Vu there but Voopoo was nice enough to send the Argus XT in the beautiful Black Carbon Fiber color along with a special edition Argus GT 2 in the Honor Blue color as well as another Uforce-l Tank in Black to match both mods asking to revisit both of these devices and feature the Uforce-L Tank with them because they are going to start producing kits of these devices with the option of the Uforce-l instead of the Matt Tank. I'll start with the Argus XT saving the special edition Argus GT 2 for last, A couple pictures include the Matt Tank with the Argus GT because it was sent in kit form.

    FIRST IMPRESSION

I'm a big fan of the Black Carbon Fiber color because it seems alive in certain lighting when moved and the color is very nice on the XT that was sent. Voopoo seals it in a very attractive and useful tin box that can used for anything that will fit inside it, I use mine for different vape building supplies such as wire, cotton, clippers, scissors, coil rod and whatever.

Inside is the mod with the 18650 battery adapter already installed inside so remove it if you plan on using a 20700 or 21700 battery. At the top is a small box containing the charge cord with the user manual and battery safety warning card on top of the mod.

    20230121_143551 (1).jpg

The battery is loaded via bottom battery door as most single battery devices do. The door is solid and has a tab with a arrow showing the direction it needs to be in to open the door, this door lived up to my abuse of sometimes slamming the device down on the desk inadvertently, besides it has the rating of IP68 so it better be strong.

    20230121_162700.jpg

Once the door is opened slide the battery in positive end first, there are no polarity markings or symbol inside the battery tube only polarity marking is a minus symbol on the battery door itself.

    20230121_150513.jpg

The top of the device has a different shape to it, I don't know how you feel about lanyard rings on a Mod but I don't like them, I personally know of no one that uses one or likes them but as the Argus MT has one so does the Argus XT but thankfully it's in a location and done with a minimal appearance that I hardly even notice it when vaping so I can't really knock it . The top plate continues the shape of the Argus XT, I actually like the shape and you'll be happy to know that a 28mm atomizer will fit.

    20230121_163627.jpg

The spine of the device and parts of the sides are wrapped in Black Carbon Fiber on this one, the other color selections are wrapped in a soft leather, most have 2 separate colors. ARGUS XT is very lightly embossed in the center of the spine as shown in the picture above. Half of the sides also have the Carbon Fiber wrap.

    20230121_164603.jpg

If you choose to charge the battery the charge port is located on the face at the bottom and is nicely covered up with a hinged door that blends into the device.

Here you can see how nice the Uforce-L Tank looks sitting on top, as most of you know I prefer a straight glass and when I reviewed it with the Drag 4 I left the straight glass on so I wanted you to see it with the bubble glass and used it during testing of these different devices.

    20230122_060848.jpg

The Argus XT uses a 2 position lock switch, if the switch is in the center position all adjustments can be made and I would call this the normal position for vaping but if you want to lock the entire device even the fire button move the switch to the left and the whole device is locked. If you only want to lock the adjustment buttons then slide the switch all the way to the right, you are still able to vape in this position though. A red padlock appears on the screen and takes the place of the wattage symbol when adjustment button are locked.

The front display screen is bright and vibrant with color and all the information is well laid out.

    ARGUS GT 2

    FIRST IMPRESSION

I was really impressed with this special edition Argus GT 2 because of the vibrant leather colors. First off I have to say that the presentation of the Argus GT 2 Kit is great with a outer cardboard colored sleeve with most of the features printed on it, inside the cardboard sleeve is a attractive metal case with Argus Outdoor embossed on the top cover.

Inside the case is a pre-formed plastic insert that all of the Argus GT 2 contents rest in with the user manual laying on top. I was sent a special edition version from Voopoo.

Your charge cable and 2 coils are in the accessory box located at the top, the 2 coils are the DM3 - 0.15Ω Mesh rated for between 80-100w with a best setting of 85-95w and the DM2 - 0.2Ω Mesh rated for between 40-60w with a best setting of 50-55w.

The first word out of my mouth was WOW and I didn't even pick the device or tank up yet.

Seeing the metal skeleton of the device and knowing it was IP68 rated I thought it was going to be a heavy mod but it's not overly heavy without batteries.

Rubbing my hand across the spine that looks like a woodgrain leather but had more of a grippy rubber feel to it with some cushiony give as well, it feels great in the hand either finger firing or using your thumb. The VOOPOO name is lightly embossed on the spine and what appears as a large S with a Soccer ball

As you can see in my opening photo the Argus GT2 is a real looker of a device. I was sent a full kit that included the Matt Tank but will be using the Uforce-L Tank in it's place.

    20230120_175601 (1).jpg

Starting out with the Argus GT 2 mod's top, the 510 pin is spring loaded with a good amount of travel and fit the various atomizers that I screwed on. There is a raised cover that slides open covering the Type-C charge port, below the charge port is a step-down of plastic ledges that give a nice accent to the device in my opinion.

    20230121_080813.jpg
    20230121_080107.jpg

Being a dual 18650 device as most devices do batteries are loaded into the device via a battery door located on the bottom of the Argus GT 2. This is normally a week spot for devices that use this type of system but the battery door's opening/locking switch is very strong with no play in the door when opened, the spring is very solid and I see this lasting without any problems occurring. The same silicone material that the top plate has surrounding also surrounds the bottom as well.

    20230121_101414.jpg

Opening the battery door shows correct battery polarity symbols of + (plus) and - (minus) on the gold plated battery door contact points but there is no markings inside the battery tubes, notice the large rubber O-ring surrounding the door cover plate.

    20230121_104024.jpg

The spine as well as half of the device is wrapped in a multi colored leather that is very soft and plush to the touch, a dark chrome bezel over the leather that is a gunmetal color is a fingerprint magnet but being so dark I don't really notice the fingerprints that much.

    20230121_082808.jpg

    20230120_184447.jpg

I was happy to see a nice sized display screen with vibrant and vivid colors having 6 power modes including TC should make every type of vaper happy, I've tried all power modes except for TC because I don't use it in my personal vaping and have no TC metals to make a coil in another atomizer to test the TC function out and since I don't use it I couldn't give you a correct finding on the TC function anyway.

There is a locking switch at the bottom on the face of the device that will lock the entire device including the fire button allowing for safe travel in a pocket or handbag. When locked a red padlock symbol will appear on the display screen.

    20230122_121001.jpg

    20230122_120926.jpg

Each power mode has it's own dedicated color with 1 color designated for all TC metals.

(Smart Mode) limits The Wattage To The Maximum Allowed Of The Coil Used - ORANGE

(RBA Mode) Allows You To Use The Full Wattage Capabilities ( 200 Watts ) - Blue

(Turbo Mode) Gives A Faster Ramp Up - Red

(TC Mode) - (NI, SS, TI) All Metals Use The Same Color - Lime Green

    MENU FUNCTIONS

    * Power Modes - Smart, RBA, Turbo, TC With 3 Memory Pre-Sets You Can Customize

    * Settings - Clears The Puff Counter - There May Be More Settings On The Retail Version

    * About Device - Tells You The Version Of The Chipset And Level Code

    * Exit - Takes You Out Of The Menu

I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED REVISITING THE ARGUS GT 2 WITH THE UFORCE-L TANK ON TOP AND WILL LEAVE A LINK TO THE ORIGINAL REVIEW.

    UFORCE-L TANK

    FIRST IMPRESSION

Packaging is a simple box in a sleeve with the tank and spare glass ( bubble ) sitting side by side, the Uforce-L ships with straight glass pre installed. under the tank are a spares bag containing O-rings, gasket, 2 coils and the user manual. As you know this is a revisit as I already reviewed this great tank.

    20230120_144227.jpg

First things first was to completely strip the tank down for a warm bath in soapy water, the tank appeared clean but I like to wash any new atomizer because there may be traces of machine oil during the manufacturing process that might still be on it.

    20230120_152003.jpg

After cleaning and drying it was assembled and I chose to use the bubble glass reviewing both mods. Starting at the base you can see how easy it is to clean having only 3 post . Coils are as the name implies push and pull with no flat spots to line up.

    20230120_190716 (1).jpg

The 2 new coils included are the dual in one PNP TW 15 0.15Ω mesh and the dual in one PNP TW 20 0.2Ω mesh. The 0.15Ω is rated for between 55 - 70 watts while the 0.2Ω is rated between 40 - 55 watts. Both coils perform great but I like the 0.15Ω best for the added warmth it gives.

    20230120_172354.jpg

    20230120_172621 (1).jpg

Airflow is very smooth at any position mainly because of the downward slope of the airflow channels of which there a 3, yes this is a very airy tank but can be closed down for a great RDL vape with no change in the sound of air coming in.

    20230120_164905 (1).jpg

There are 2 large fill ports that fit any size bottle tip such as this 100ml bottle, it's a quarter turn to remove the top cap. The control ring for airflow can be fully adjusted but sadly there is no hard stopping point at either end giving 360° of spin. On the Silver color it's not a big deal because it's easier to see the 3 slots of the control ring but the Black it's not as easy to see.

    20230120_191512.jpg

    20230120_170140 (1).jpg

This is in my opinion the best tank and coils from Voopoo yet, FANTASTIC FLAVOR and with great coil life to boot, I am still using the coil in the Drag 4 review and it's still producing good flavor but beginning to drop a little ( pretty good for 16 days ). To sum things up this is a big winner and I highly recommend it. I will leave a link to the original review with the Drag 4 below.

I would like to thank Nical and Voopoo for sending these items to revisit and I hope you enjoyed the reviews revisited.

    THANK YOU

Awesome review buddy,as always a pleasure to see your thoughts on vaping apparatus.

Gotta agree with the color of the XT,same one they sent me and it looks beautiful.
Just waiting to finish all my GTi coils so i can more to these PNP,in my case i achieved Nirvana with the 0.2 coil but then again i don't really like warm vapes.

The airflow ring is something i didn't really make mention in my video review, silver tank its easier to see than with the black one that i got.
After some use there is less ''resistance'' so once in a while i gotta check to make sure its 2/3rds of the way closed up.

    Cheers

Thanks my friend, looking forward to your thoughts as well. These new PNP coils really make juice taste almost like your eating the flavor your vaping. I ran blueberry yogurt flavor in testing.
