So I have a Volt Spinner and I wanted to buy replacement heads Smokeless Image | T3 Clearomizer Head for my SI T3 Bottom Coil Clearomizer. Well SI is out of stock so I bought replacement heads from LiteCigsUSA - Kanger T3 EgO Bottom Coil Atomizer Heads. Well they Definitely do not fit. The funny thing is I listened to this douche Outlaw Vaper and he says its an EgO head even tho he's talking about the x2 which I also have. They are both the exact same thread and style. You can clearly see in my pics that the X2 and Spinner are the same.

Please look through the photos you can tell there are complete differences from the Volt Spinner and EgO Heads. Also the Volt X2 will fit and work with the EgO Heads but it feels like I'm cross threading them. Even with this being a work around they still wont fit the Volt Spinner.

The One on the left is SI T3 Head and the other on the right is an EgO T3 Head. As you can see the threads are closer to the front on the SI Head plus the Si post is shallower the the EgO T3 as the post is longer.

This one is the SI T3 Head which is Shallower then the EgO Head.

This one is the EgO T3 Head which is Deeper then the SI T3 Head.

The EgO Head on the right is slightly wider also. However, both will screw onto the bottom of the Tank with no problems.

EgO T which is what the Heads I bought are really for...

Slight gap on the Volt X2 with the EgO Head. This setup does work with slight cross thread feeling.. Does not even screw on the Volt Spinner. Its like the threads dont reach each other.

Final note... So basically my question is do they make an adaptor for this and WHAT THE HELL tops, threads, or whatever is SI using?? It might be EgO thread but something is not right.

Hi - The Volt Spinner appears to have eGo external threading, which is sort of does, but devices like the EVOD for example, will not fit on a Volt Spinner. I was part of a discussion not too long ago where we were trying to figure it out.

This isn't the best picture, but if you look closely I think you can see what the issue it. While the grooves on the threads are of equal distance, indicating they are the same size threads, the threads on the Volt Spinner (the 808) don't go down as far as the ones on the 510 eGo. This means that while regular eGo-type devices will screw on, they won't fit low enough for the battery connection to make contact.

The Volt Spinner's also has 808 internal threading, so you can't use 510 devices on it. There are 808 to 510 adaptors, but I don't know if there is an adaptor for the external threads, maybe another member does. if I find one I will post a link. As it is, you're kind of stuck with using SI products.

This 808 Adapter - 808D Battery to Go-go Cartomizer-to-510 adaptor might work.

Avid Vapor sells an adaptor kit with a mix of adaptors that might work too: http://www.avidvaper.com/battery-atomizer-adapters/

The problem is the double threading of the ego devices. Not having tried it, the most important contact thread will be the inner ones (808-510). The issue is will the outer threads interfere?

To the OP, if you find a workable solution, please post back with the successful results.

i don't think the 808 to 510 adapter will do in this case.
the T3 does not use the 510 threading to connect to the battery just outside threads of an eGo battery.

in this case an 808/eGo adapter should do

it will connect the adapter to the 808 thread on your Volt and your clearomizer should connect to the ego threading on the adapter. Since most ego threaded equipment is 510 threading this should work

it will leave the ego threading on your x2/volt spinner exposed/unused, you could try a short cone with it to cover it. not sure if it's short enough to work.

and while i haven't watched the video, Outlaw Vaper wasn't a ''douche", the information he provided was correct. for your purposes there is just one peace of information missing. Translated into other terms he told you the connection was 'human' he didn't tell you that some humans are male and some female.

and that is the case here.
Leaving the ego threading aside - since that is not THE battery connection part .. just the 'extra threading' for the connected clearomizer to stay in place in cases when the clearomizer used only has a central pin and not threading around it

the SI site (and some others) deal with 808 battery threaded equipment only.

for easier understanding with the 808 connection the battery is 'male' and the atomizer is 'female'

ego batteries are generally 510 connections
with the 510 thread equipment the battery is 'female' and the atomizer 'male'

510 & 808 Cartomizer

an SI x2 or volt spinner from what i was reading is a modified ego (so it has the same size/thicknes and ego threading) but an 808 battery connection.

hope this works
