First thoughts... It looks as if Volcano has shrunk the Inferno tank system. The Magma tank has the same spike setup in the atty.
Filling. Same as the ego/inferno T systems, but the cap is smaller (harder to get off for me). I put exactly 18 drops in 2 different tanks, with two different brands of juices/droppers.
I vaped these with both the Inferno battery and the older Magma manual batteries (Volcano has redesigned this battery, I don't have it). The inferno pt battery gave slightly more vapor/flavor.
First off, I noticed that the draw is very, very, very tight on these tanks. The tips are round versus the whistle tip. I pulled off both plugs at the top of the tip, and noticed a slight improvement.
So far, these don't suffer the old dry hit/slow wicking problem that the ego/inferno T's suffer from. Taste is not as strong as dripping, but not as muted as the previous tank versions. The smaller tanks don't produce as much vapor as the larger tanks either.
Just for fun, I plugged one of these up to a PowerVapor(TM) 5 volt box Mod for juiceblaster.kicks-... (dot)net. These tiny tanks can't wick fast enough at five volts, dry burns after the first pull.
In all, I believe these new tanks are better designed than the older tanks. I was able to get away with the back to back pulls/drags without getting dry hits. So far, I haven't noiced any wicking or leaking problems. These are not the same as some of the other 510 smart carts I have seen on line... I will post pics below.
This test run was completed over a period of 6 hours of hanging out playing pool/drinking/heavy vaping, with a follow up this morning... I will say that I got more than expected out of these tankos.
questions or comments are welcome.
