Vision ViVi Nova V2.5 vs. PHOENiX 3ml Bottom Coil eGo tank 2.4-2.6ohm SLEEVED

I use an eGo-C Type-B and am thinking of trying these two products. I plan on getting both, but I'm wondering what you guys think about them.

I'm familiar with whats going on in the ViVi cause I've used the Vision V2, but I have no idea how the hole in the bottom is supposed to work in the PHOENiX.

Thanks in advance,
dL

Phoenix Bottom Coils are nice. juice is tasty and I've had no dry hits. Very leak resistant. Just be aware that these MUST be turned upside down and filled with a syringe. People can give you some strange looks when refilling in public LOL!

Didn't really care for the eGo tank/atty style in your link. Juice flavor was extremely muted and they leaked. I personally prefer a Dual Coil Tank with a Resurrector (from Crystal Clear vaping).

Haven't used the Vivi Nova....yet....but I did get paid this week...hmmmm.....

Those bottom coils are ugly as hell but they vape like a beast! Those and the Nova's are my fave ways to vape. I use the smaller bottom coils and am considering getting the bigger ones because the smaller ones are, well, smaller. The Nova tanks go with me when I leave the house, just love them. I see they are making bottom coil stardust type clearo's now too, if those work as well as the Phoenix, they are on to something serious. I'm a believer in the bottom coils. Then, if they make those with replaceable heads...holy vapor, Batman!

I have both and I like both!

The Phoenix 3 mil is a bit airy and makes an annoying whistling sound. If I get around to blocking 1 or 2 of the 4 air holes in the base I'm sure that'll stop. It has has a great taste and vapor production. On one of the two I got I keep having to pull the pin back out because it won't make contact after I remove it and replace it. Also, they didn't come with a syringe to fill them. Luckily I had one from the box of Phoenix XL's I got.

The Vivi's are really nice also and probably get more use since I can put them on any 510 device. Where as the Phoenix requires ego threading and I don't have an eGo to 510 adapter. The flavor is a bit muted on the Vivi Nova but it looks better and works well enough. On one of the two that I've got the center post is a little off center so the silicon cap doesn't mate up with the top cap and there is a little tiny gap where juice some times leaks out if I'm not careful.

What's a Resurrector?

1.7ohm Smoktech Single Coil Cartomizer. They are called the resurrector for some reason I do not understand but I think it has something to do with the fact that they hit so nice that it's like getting a brand new PV... In REALITY, the Boge single coils should be called the Resurrector because they do not seem to die no matter how many times you clean and reuse them. I have used mine since day one, so over 5 months, and they are still going strong. I lost a couple to a burned taste along the way but I attribute that to either poor quality control, or using carto killer juice on my part.

To the OP - I am not a fan of the Phoenix - I've heard stories of dry hits (which is weird cuz you know, bottom feeder), they're fiddly to get working right, and although it's possible, they're not easy to rebuild. The Vivi Nova is better in all categories.

If you take the drip tip off and center the post while you screw the cap on that works. But since I have plenty of condems from inside those horrible little stardusts, Ive put those on, and they are a spot longer which seals better against the cap.

It's the whole center post that's crooked. I can't seem to bend it back. Pliers may help. My most recent fill of it got a good seal though.

To the OP I also wanted to mention that since a device only lasts as long as the coil, and the coil on the Phoenix 3ml isn't replaceable (nor does it look easily rebuildable if your into that) I feel that the Vivi Nova is probably a better deal. I haven't used the Phoenix long enough to see how long it will last but I imagine it will be about as long as one of the smaller CE3's (Phoenix). It is a better "experience" in my opinion though.

The vivi nova has worked well for me. They do require some swirling juice around the wicks, even if they're the long ones (at least with the juice im using). It also works at a much lower voltage. The phoenix bottom coil tanks work well too but not so well on a normal ego battery, better on the twist but amazing on the LT. Both have good flavor, the phoenix has better flavor but the vivi nova looks better and has more vapor production.

I don't agree. Bottom coils work absolutely great on standard eGo batts, I got a bunch of small and big ones and they're great vapes. Cool but great.
