Fired up my vision spinner button and it flashed a few times and failed to fire, put it on charger and it seems to be charging fine(red, then green blink). I just got this recently and don't know it too well yet. On my old joytech egos and passthroughs when I fired the battery and it had a good amount of juice it would light up white, and if i fired it and battery was low the led would be blue. Am I alright?

Spinners don't have the white to aqua to dark blue thing on charge like the eGo's do. Probably just needed charging - they flash a few times when they're out of charge.... on mine - the Vision 400mAh VV - the button lights up on the charger too, then goes out when the charge is full.

When your Spinner is out of power the button will flash 14 times. If it's only flashing 2 or 3 times(I forget now how many) and won't fire it's because you have tightened the cleromizer too much which has caused a short in the head. Give it about a 1/16 turn back and all should ge good. When connecting to a charger the light on the battery will turn on and the USB charger will flash from green to red to green again. This cycle will continue until the battery is charged and at that time the light will only be green. Also of note, the light on your battery will go out about an hour to an hour and a half before the battery is fully charged. Hope that helps.

I just charged up a spinner for a buddy and the light on the batt went out right when the charger light turned green, for what it's worth.

So the charger light is supposed to blink green and red. I have a 1300mah, just got it yesterday. I guess it just takes awhile to charge since its a big battery.

My 400mAh VV and I would assume all other Visions - the batts led will blink when need of charging, then blink when put on the charger, go out, but the led on the batt then comes on and stays on until the charge is full then goes off. On the charger, the light will be red at first and as it gets toward a full charge will blink off red to green on occasion - then to fully green when fully charged.

Joye eGos don't have their button led on during charging, but the charger light does the same - mostly red at first, then blinks to green near full charge and then fully green at full charge.

All of that stuff is correct.
It also blinks a few times when you reach the 6 second cutoff.
I use Joyetech chargers with all of my eGo threaded stuff.
Seem to charge quicker & hold a charge longer too.

Good point on the cutoff, I forgot but the cutoff on the Spinner is quicker than the Twist. I'll give that one to Joye on all their batts - they have long cutoff points and I like that. The early cutoffs on some others, noticeably the KR8 batts, was infuriating. lol

Joyetech stuff is more solidly built in general.
Just wish they would make the dial like the twists.

I think you mean "like the Spinners"... yeah me too but people have noted that the numbers are wearing off the Spinners... Actually, I like the 'hash marks' on the Twist too - they should be more prominent in some manner - something the Spinners don't have but you can make a good guess with what is there.

My Vision Spinners charge fine but I have another question about the LED flash phenomenon.
When in use they will sometimes flash while I am using them, I mean I am actively drawing and vaping. This occurs with full charges, not after any length of use so the charge is still full. Is this associated with the length of draw or time of firing ?
thanks in advance, Tim

Yes, it's the safety cutoff. If the battery button is held down for a certain length of time the battery shuts down and the button blinks. The cutoff times vary with different batteries but I think it's anywhere from 6-10 seconds.

Spinners sometimes cut out early. I think it is just a quirk with spinners that I will overlook.

Have a few Spinners, and the cut-off time is NOT exactly the same on all of them. Probably due to variations in the manufacture of the timing circuit.

But when I want a reallllllllly long draw, I just "double-tap" the button - i.e. draw for a while, quick release and repress of the button while still drawing. Easy. Rewarding.
