Vision spinner charging issue

I got a 900 mah vision spinner battery and a joyetech ego rapid usb charger from myvaporstore.com. It came yesterday and seemed to work fine but when I tried to charge it the light just stays green (it is supposed to turn red when it is charging). However, the white light on the battery does turn on. The battery is completely dead at this point (it just flashes a bunch when I press the button), and it won't charge. I have another battery (not a name brand), which I tried plugging into the charger, and the light turns red and seems to charge just fine which makes me think the charger is not the issue. Should I email them and ask for a replacement battery? Or is there some kind of fix?
Thanks

Have you tried using a different topper (carto/clearo/tank) on the battery? It might not be dead, there might be a short in the coil. Another thing that could have happened it that the center pin could have gotten pushed in a little, generally from over-tightening it on the the charger or topper. You might be able to (gently!) get a paperclip, toothpick, or tiny screwdriver under it and (gently!) lift it up a bit, all around.

Hope this helps!

Sounds like the charger isn't connecting to the battery correctly. As you got it yesterday, it should still be under warranty, I would return it rather than mess with it. You might give them a call, I've used MVS and found them to be excellent in customer service.

You might just try cleaning both the charger and the battery contacts thoroughly with alcohol.

That I know, the spinner takes a specific charger - I remember when I got mine it had a little warning label on it saying do not use to charge other batteries - spinner only - or something to that effect. I just checked it and it say output is 420mAh. I am wondering if they sent the correct charger.

I'd give them a call tomorrow, let them fix the issue.

Someone might suggest trying to pry up the center post of your battery - but in this case I would say that is not the issue as the light comes on when you connect it to the charger. By doing this you will probably invalidate the warranty as well...

It blinks regardless of whether there is or isn't anything on top so I don't think that's the issue. And the button light turns white when it's plugged into the charger- it's just that the light on the charger stays green instead of turning red like it should, which makes me think that the center pin must be making contact with the charger. Do you still think I should try to mess with the center pin?
edit: in response to InTheShade, that's what I was thinking about the center pin so I won't mess with it. I guess I will just try to call them tomorrow. What number should I call them at? I can't find it on their website (or should I just email them?). Thanks for the advice

I am having a similar issue. Here's what I found. If I screw the battery into the charger as far as it will go, I get a green light on the charger. If I back it out a little the light turns red and flashes every 5 sec. The light on the battery stays lit. I just got my spinner yesterday. The charger is a generic that the seller recommended. I am charging it now for the first time with the red light on. It has been on about 2 hrs. I will see if it charges correctly. If the light isnt green in 4 hrs, I suspect something is wrong.

I have a few of these spinners batteries and sometimes they give me issues when charging but from my experience. If you clean your charger/ batteries with rubbing alcohol they charge just fine. Sometimes i have an ego adapter that I place on the charger to help keep the charger from getting all that residue on the charging post

Finished the charging cycle on the Spinner. About 45 min before complete, the light on the battery went out. then about 30 min after that the charger went back and forth between green and red. about 15 min after that it was green and would occasionally flash red.
I had the previous problem right out of the box with the battery. Battery and charger were both new. Like that video shows you, screw it in till the red light comes on and stop. the whole cycle took 4-5 hours.
