I have several Spinners, and none need to be turned off to charge.

In my experience, if the battery light stays on, it indicates a deeper state of discharge. A full charge can take about 4 hours from that point of discharge, and part way through the battery light will go off, charger light still red. Near full charge, the charger light will start a slow red/green blink.

If when you start the charge the charger light stays green, it's indicating a poor connection to the battery. Clean all contacts and try again. Even with a fully charged battery, the charger should go briefly red as it tests the battery voltage.

Ok here is an update. I have 2 usb ego chargers. When i charge my twist either on the pc or any of the 4 wall chargers it works fine. But the spinner, charge only when its connected on the pc.

you're using the wrong charger then. Make sure it's rated for the spinner, i believe its 420mah.

No It does not.

The charger has to turn red--if it doesn't, it's not charging. You may want to unplug the charger and plug it back in--it reboots the charger if it's stuck, :D Also, make sure that your charger threads are clean--use a q-tip or an old toothbrush dipped in 91% Isopropyl alcohol. Don't overtighten your your battery--if you screw it on too tightly, you may push the center pin into the battery and it won't make proper electrical contact. If your battery's pin has been pushed in, you may try to--very gently--try to raise it a hair. Use a tiny screwdriver or a paper clip to wiggle it up, from all sides, just a little bit.

Are you using a wall adapter or your computer's USB port. Sometimes those USB ports are finicky. I always use a wall adapter with my eGo chargers. You can use a joyetech or a generic wall adapter:

I use a generic adpter with following specs:

Input: Dc 5v, 500 mA
Output: DC 4.2v, 420 mA

I second that ^

Hey y'all, I don't have any input for the OP, but my question is battery charge related so I figured I'd ask here instead of starting a new thread....
When I'm charging my eGo Twist, I get the red light on the charger like I should. The "odd" thing is that it flashes green from time to time. When it turns green and stays green I disconnect it from charger and use. Lasts for at least 8 hours, no problem. Is the sporatic flashing of the green light a problem, or a sign of something?

Thanks
