I think I might be allergic to PG. Started vaping a little over a month ago and been doing some DIY. I've developed some hives on my chest and back and in researching this, it seems others have had this reaction to PG. I have quite a few TFA flavors and they are all PG based. I was wondering where I might find some VG based flavors to try to get away from the PG. Also, since VG is so thick, what is the recommended % of distilled water I should mix in there? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

While I haven't tried this specific dilution, I will be attempting a dilution of 80%VG, 9% Distilled Water, 9% saline, and 2% pure grain alcohol. This is from user: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/members/128486/we2rcool.html

If you're only using distilled water, try 15%-20%. PGA will add throat hit but don't go overboard.

Short answer: Anywhere from 10%-30% depending on preferred viscosity.
