Hi all,
i have started vaping on liquids which are actually from a very well known company and i think the flavours rock! (would prefer not to mention the name). i have noticed that they are very, very dark and this seems to really clog up my atomizers in time. They are VG/PG mix.

i also noticed that with most liquids with nicotine, the longer they sit around the darker they get.

this gets me thinking,
are the liquids im puffing an old batch or is this how some liquids actually are even when fresh?

A lot of juices get darker as they age, mainly from the oxidation of the nicotine as it's exposed to air. I've heard that pure, high qualitine nicotine bases shouldn't darken, but I don't know about that. I have had a few crystal clear liquids that stayed that way after aging.

Juices come in a lot of hues and colors when made fresh, and can be very dark depending on the flavoring, so dark doesn't always equal old. I prefer clearer juices because I can go longer in between cleaning my atty, but since so many of the tobaccos I love come dark and cloudy I've just accepted that I'll be cleaning more often.

Over the past several months I have also had a problem with a company I have been ordering from for a long time. This last batch I ordered some 0 nic cotton candy to reduce my existing 18mg cotton candy. The zero did not have any color, 2 after I let it steep to see if it would change it got cloudy/milky white. I keep all my juice in the fridge, so I added it with the rest. Now a week later it is so cloudy/milky with no pink at all. It smells ok, and tastes ok. I would like to know why this has happened.
Also a bottle of 24mg Cotton candy that was in there from 3 months ago is very dark, almost burnt looking. Why is this happening now & not to any others?
