Vaporesso Target Mini Kit issue

Hey guys, i recently bought the target mini kit and i'm confused about a couple of things. First of all i received an extra 0.6 ohm coil for MTL but vaporesso's website states that it comes with an extra 1.4 ohm coil. (I checked the authenticity code and it is GENUINE).
Second, when i first started using the guardian tank that comes with the kit it was great, two days later i start getting dry hits (or at least a weird taste) and the liquid's flavor became kind of muted. I'm sure it is not a priming issue since i let the liquid soak for 20 min each time if fill the tank and took a few hits with the mod turned off to make sure the coil wicked correctly.
Also is this 0.6 ohm coil, which is rated 8-13 watts btw, supposed to be used with higher VG liquids or would it work with a 50/50 liquid? i am confused about this since i know that sub-ohm coils are supposed to be used with high VG juices but this coil is meant for MTL vaping and has small juice holes so i would thin that VG liquids would have a hard time wicking.

Any help would be appreciated.

Tanks which use smaller holes in the coil heads will have a harder time keeping up with adequate wicking if you are using a thicker e-liquid (high vg ratio). You should use a balanced (50/50 pg/vg) e-liquid for those coils.

Larger wick holes allow for thicker juices to adequately wick the coil. You can use thicker e-liquids with these coils.

You could try doing "primer puffs" (sucking without power on) to get more e-liquid to the coil head.

Hi there, thanks for those two posts they are nice reads but not really what i was looking for. I know the basics of vaping and i did quite a bit of research and understand what equipment i should use with what liquid. What confused me is the fact that a sub ohm coil usually requires higher wattage than an above-ohm coil (to the extent of my knowledge) and should be paired with higher VG juices. However, the extra 0.6 ohm cCell coil that came with my Target Mini Kit is rated at 8-13 watts and is recommended for MTL vaping. So is this a wrong print on the coil? And can i use this with a 50/50 blend?

Sorry for the long posts, I'm just trying to explain my situation the best I can.

The 0.5 ohm cCell coil has large wick holes probably meant for higher VG juices and direct lung hits. The 0.6 ohm one has smaller holes and my guess was a 50/50 blend would be suitable for it. But its wattage rating still confuses me since it is a sub-ohm coil.

I'm also worried that this o.6 ohm coil for the guardian tank is a fake since it is not mentioned in Vaporesso's website. As i said i checked the authenticity code and it is genuine but this a bit of my paranoia and overthinking coming into play

Update: The weird taste becoming less and less prominent but i get a slight burnt taste if i take 4-5 big puffs without waiting between puffs. Am i supposed to wait a bit between each hit for the coil to rewick?

Could start at 5 watts on what ever coil and slowly work up the wattage until you have a MTL cloud with a decent taste. I find that the taste is paramount and I don't worry about how much of a cloud is present.
If the cloud is not satisfactory with a known decent taste, that's the limit of the coil.

Try my earlier suggestion to do some primer puffs between vapes.

I don't know of a 0.6 Ohm coil for this tank. The 0.6 Ccell is for the full size Target kit. It takes different coils though. Also, the 0.6 coil is rated at like 20-30 watts.

I'm not sure if this helps but I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents.

Thanks a lot. That is also what their website says and what i see reviewers on youtube have. This got me thinking that my kit is a fake/copycat. But as i said i checked the authenticity code on their website and it is genuine.
I sent an email to vaporesso but they didn't respond.

Update: I tried the 0.6 ohm coil in the guardian tank today. First of all, the coil's notch didn't fit flush in the tank's notch. Second, when i tried closing the tank it didn't close properly and whenever i tried changing the airflow it would just open the whole tank. I immediately threw away that coil and put back the 0.5 ohm coil that came preinstalled and this time i used a 50/50 juice from TBD liquids. It worked perfectly, no dry hits, nice clouds and nice flavor, so i guess my previous problem with dry hitting was due to the liquid (Dela Creme by Liquid Nation) being too thick.

Hi, I decided was better to bump this topic than start new.. The 0.6 head is indeed the legit replacement for the 1.4. I just wanted to ask, what is the draw like? Is it too airy for MTL or is it ok? Have you compared the vape to nautilus?
