Hello all, I own a SWAG vaporesso, with a Melo 3 mini atomizer for almost a year. Since yesterday I got the message on my screen "Short Atomizer or Low Atomizer". Bought new battery, changed atomizer, cleaned, still not working. It shows Short Atomizer even if no atomizer installed , as you can see in the picture. Never dropped, I only use 1 day a week, on fridays ( i know , it's wierd). Same thing happened to eleaf istick Pico, both never dropped from the table, always cleaned.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
When I had this problem on other mods, either the 510 pin insulator was damaged or the spring loaded 510 pin was stuck in a crooked orientation.

Could be something else, though. Could even be a damaged board.

Might be worth reinstalling the firmware (on both mods) if you can't find the actual cause of the problem. Costs nothing. Just make sure you download the right firmware (example Swag and Swag II are not the same firmware!).

I have no experience in vaping mods or those problems but I would definitely take it apart and clean the board and 510 with asopropyl alcohol.....and eye check all connections....if u feel like you are into that stuff....ofc in no warranty or if I didn't wanted to take it to repair....before I go buy something else :)

The 0.07 ohm reading with no atomizer installed tells me something is shorted in the mod (board issue) or like others have said the 510 pin (insulator or spring).

Take a small jewelers screwdriver or something similar and gently move the 510 pin (brass colored post) from side to side basically prying it up a little as you do. Also check for any debris in that hole as well.

You can test fire after a few movements of the pin to see if the Atomizer Short goes away, it should say No Atomizer instead. If the short message goes away, then try putting your Melo 3 back on and see if it works showing the correct resistance for the coil that you use (0.15, 0.3, 0.6, 0.75 etc).

Remove the tank and put it back on a few times to see if the error returns. If it does return then the 510 connector on the Swag is bad. If the error never went away, then it is most likely a board problem and in either case the mod will have to be replaced.
