Vaporesso Gen 200 Possible Firmware Issue

Hey everyone, my vaporesso Gen 200 is having issues. The screen lights up when I press the menu or adjustment buttons, but none of the buttons (including the fire button) actually respond or change settings. A repair shop confirmed it’s not a hardware issue, so I suspect it’s a firmware problem.

Since vaporesso doesn’t provide firmware updates for this model, does anyone know how to force a reset, reflash firmware, or troubleshoot this issue? Also, my PC also doesn’t recognize the device when plugged in.

If you search google for this problem you'll see it's a fairly common issue since the Gen line first was introduced. Consider it a loss. Time for a new mod.a

Hi, if you have isopropyl alcohol at home, you can try cleaning the battery contacts and the 510 pin/threading after removing the batteries. The main issue with the first Gen series was usually the chassis and the connector plate, which either lifted due to stripped screws or got damaged entirely. I've had the 80W model for almost two years, and the only way to keep it from breaking is to use it strictly at home. Fortunately, with the new SE and Max models, Vaporesso has solved the fragility issue.
