It's not as hot as cigarettes, no...but then again, you're not inhaling tobacco farm that's on fire, either. Bottom coils are definitely cooler than top coils, but they're a little less finicky from my perspective. Being from similar climates, too, the vapor's cold when it's cold outside.

You can try to use a lower resistance coil, like a 1.8 ohm, and that will help a bit. You just can't run it at too high a voltage because you get that lovely burnt silica taste pretty quick. Also, if you're looking for "throat hit"...cinnamons are a good choice, they hit pretty hard, almost like a real cig. (In a vapey good kind of way....)

Greetings DD, welcome to the forum.

It depends on the kind of device you are using, I assume you're starting out with a clearomizer? Certain ones, like the Anyvape Aspire BDCC, tend to vape warm, while others (like the Davide) provide an airy, cool vape.

If you are using a variable voltage battery, like an eGo Twist or an APV, you can adjust the voltage to vary the temperature and quality of the vape. What are you vaping on now?

When you inhale and then exhale the vapor is very cool.
Should all vapor be cold or cool when exhale or its specifically to the Kanger Evod?

I experienced the same in my first vaping using ego ce4 starter kit with dekang brand liquid (no Menthol), though it's just slightly cooler when exhale. I thought it was just my feeling. Later I buy Imotion3 variable vol and experiencing it's tend to be cooler exhale vapor on low Voltage vaping (various brand & atomizer). Maybe it's just because the cloud are not so warm from beginning. I don't know.

Evod is bottom coil and will give a cooler vape. I prefer and use top coil clearos cuz I like the warm vape= more like an analog. As mentioned it also depends on the PV you're using and the ohms of the clearo. lower ohms= warmer vape.

In my experience, vaping is much cooler than smoking, temperature-wise (as well as coolness!) Vaping as hot as a cigarette would be burns my throat and tastes bad.

If you find the coolness unsatisfying, you can try liquids with cinnamon, higher PG, menthol, or other flavors (i.e. jalapeno) that give similar symptoms.

I've learned to enjoy a cool, thick vape; that works for me. But you may really want something that is hot; TCC's may help a bit but IMHO they aren't the same as the "bite from the burn" that you get from a cigarette.

I find all halo menthols too cold, like frost bite on my throat.
I recently experimented with koolada and added it to some juices, it was uncomfortably cold.
Just want to say i agree with the above posts as well, top coils are warmer, lower ohms is warmer.
Certain juices warmer.
But when i think cold i think menthol, koolada, pepperminet

I mean the vapor itself is cool. When you inhale then exhale the vapor onto your hand, palm etc.. the vapor feels cool or kind of cold. It feels nice

Yup -- you're from Canada -- where cold air feels nice.

Only kidding you, dunedune.

As you can see by the responses, some prefer a cooler vape and some a warmer one. IMHO it should never be near as "hot" as that cig stuff, so maybe it is always a bit cooler on exhale.

Thanks for all the replies. I want to clear this up.

I'm very satisfied with the e juice and Evod I'm using right now, just want to know in general, does the vapor supposed to be cool after you inhale then exhale the vapor onto back of your palm or hand..

If you blow air into your hand without the vapor, the air is warm but if you inhale a puff of vapor then blow onto your hand the vapor air feels cool.

on the INHALE, I got a very cold vape form any tank (kind funny on a iclear 30s) I'd throw on it. the ohms would be right, voltage would be at 4.2, and it was ice cold. Having a battry and mech mod already fail on me, I decided I didnt want to chance it and replacedi t with a VTR. EDIT: That being said, a single coil 2.5 ohm wont give too warm of a vape, but a 1.8 ohm coil at 3.8v or a dual coil tend to give a warmer vape

On the EXHALE, vapor always seems to feel cold for me. something to do with the moisture methinks

Interesting, I never noticed that before. Maybe it's the effect of having moisture on the hand (from the vapor).

Physics. A vapor mist feels cooler than the air around it. It's the combination of the humidity being drawn from the air by the mist and the evaporation of the mist as it heats up.

Come to Texas and you'll find these all over the place at outdoor events in summer:

They work on the same principle.
