I got a new tank and it works well. I've been vaping non stop at 24mg nicotine.

Today my throat started getting really dry and little raw. When I take a hit, I can't taste it at all, and it burns my throat a little.

I think I may be getting sick, but could the heavy vaping be causing this? I've Vaped heavily before and got this, but not this bad.

Its probably just something else, but I was wondering if it may be something with the new tank? Anyone else get sore throat or anything from vaping too much?

24mg is pretty hefty for chain vaping. It could be the nicotine or some other element irritating your throat, could be lack of hydration. The inability to taste is likely due to constant use/not changing flavor groups. Happens to us all. I would recommend using a lower nic level for constant vaping and increasing your fluid intake. To get the flavor/taste back try to vape juices from completely different groups like say go from a desert flavor to a mint. Keep your taste-buds entertained.

One eliquid hurts your throat or all eliquids lately?

Could be you need to lower the PG % in your juices, or maybe the 24 mg nic level. Most likely its the PG%.

I don't know, but since I started vaping, my tongue has been torn up!

I think perhaps it is the PG, or the vapor itself that is just rough on my tongue. I'm only using 18ml, but I have e-liquids that just arrived that are 15mg, I'll see how they do.

My tongue started getting sore around Day 5ish I think......its been about 15 days or so since I started vaping, and my tongue DOES seem to be getting better. Still irritated though.

I definitely think the body has to get used to vaping. Some people are more sensitive to vaping then others. I'd imagine some people are more sensitive to PG than others as well.

Maybe drop down nic content a bit, make sure you are drinking enough fluid, and cut down a bit on the chain vaping. Give it a week and see if that helps!

Only thing that every caused my throat to hurt was vaping too much menthol liquids. Everything else I can tape like a train (literally I run up and doing that street screaming "choo choooo", don't know why they wont invite me to the block party), but I also tend to vape more for flavor and less for TH. So this might be part of it.

What kind of tank? Does it use a silica wick? Silica has given some users throat irritation.

It might help to add what your setup is and what voltage/ohms your using. PG? VG?

Drinking more water might help, maybe you have a sensitivity to PG or VG.

I'm pretty sure I just have a sinus infection. The vape just hurts it more because its so high in nicotine, unfiltered, and on high.

I have the wick that came with the tank I have, which is a mini nova. The wick has 6 threads on each side. This is the first time I have seen one of these. Every other one I've seen has had 3 on each side.

It may not be a sinus infection but ok pretty sure it is, since I've been having bad allergies lately. It usually happens every year. I smoked an analogue today to see what happens. It didn't hurt near as bad, but still hurt. This must be because of the filter.

Nova's do have a silica wick, but if you have a sinus infection, that might be it. I get them once a year too and it affects my vape experience big time.

Hope you feel better and get back to some nicer vapes!

For what it's worth, I've been a carto tank fan forever but just recently have started using the Kanger bottom coil stuff, i.e. T3, EVOD (really liking these), Protank. The only issue with them is that they use a silica wick which I'm not a fan of, so I've been rebuilding them with cotton wicks and it's been great.

Something I found in the first week of vaping was that I was constantly chain vaping. Using clearomizers with top coils and the coils getting pretty warm. I tried switching flavors and such and no good. What I did find was that when I got in some bottom coil tanks the problem cleared up tremendously.
Besides that the best advice I was given was to hydrate. Vaping will dry your mouth and throat severely. And when we say hydrate that means more than normal. There is a break in period with vaping that your mouth and throat have to go through.
Cigs have some chemicals that numb the effect on the mouth and throat. Right now your not getting those anymore. Give your self a chance to find the new normal.
And for myself, I have used an analog at times and don't beat my self up about it. When my mouth being sore I would take a break and then get right back to vaping.
