I wouldn't want to take my gear to an amusement park. I'm not familiar with kennywood but I used to go to six flags over Texas a lot when I was younger and lived closer.

At six flags, yes you can choose the right places to go to not get wet, but it's so hot eventually you find yourself on a water ride whether you want to be there or not lol.

I would rather not have even my backup unit, a VAMO 2-the cheapest of my mods- getting soaked.

I don't trust my pockets either. Too afraid I'll break off a tank or clearo from the mod. So I'd be on all the rides holding onto my vape gear for dear life rather than enjoying the ride itself...

Just my two cents...

This would be a little much for me to lug around at an amusement park unless it was in a backpack, but:

I doubt anything bad will happen and they surely won't confiscate your gear if you don't let them. just don't vape around a crowd of people and you will be ok. If it makes you feel better, you can vape in a smoking section. I don't know if the park you are going to has a smoking section, but the ones around here have one.

I would stealth it in a non crowded area. That's just me.... would be a bummer to go a whole day without a vape or two.

It's outside anyways.... don't see what the big deal is really. I was at an indoor water park on Friday and it was chilly outside (I did go out there to vape, but was freezing my tushy off). I just had a towel around me and did a few pulls sitting at a table in plain view. Nobody caught on or said anything, also wasn't blowing clouds either.

Just when we were about to leave at closing I was fully dressed using a vamo v3 with a carto tank in plain view reading stuff on my phone and nobody said a word lol. The place is called Evergreen Wings and Waves here in Oregon. It's an aviation museum where they have Howard Hughes's Spruce Goose airplane. As you can guess it is quite humid inside there and the air is most likely filtered. There is a 747 on top of the building and that is where you access 4 of the main slides.

For rides have a secure pocket that zips or closes and have your mod in a zip lock plastic bag for water rides. Done.

from the web site, under the park rules:

"Smoking. Smoking of any substance, through any means, is not permitted, including without limitation, cigarettes, pipes, cigars, hookahs, ........., ....s or electronic cigarettes"

"Electronic Cigarettes? No electronic cigarettes, period. There is no way whatsoever for the Park to determine actually what is in such devices, nor whether such a device is actually for “smoking” and not a weapon or some other sort of device. Minimally, electronic cigarettes are annoying and/or a concern to the majority of our customers who do not wish to be subjected to whatever substance people may be “smoking.” "

Boo on Kennywood.

A buddy of mine went to kentucky Kingdom the other week. Said a guy was vaping on some decent gear there, apparently the dude had mothers milk in his rda and let my friend try it. So, you probably won't have problems, but it also depends on your amusement parks policy. Just make sure that thing is where it won't fly out of the ride!

Sent from the mothership.

I'd stick to disposables if I were worried about someone trying to confiscate them. If you don't give them up all they can do is eject you from the park. Stealth vape and enjoy. That's what I'd do.

A week or so ago we were in Panama City Florida and went to a city block sized water park. You change into a swimsuit and rent a locker when you enter. I thought I'd go back to the locker and vape here and there. I thought about it a couple of times and decided I didn't need to. I finally vaped around 5:30 after changing clothes. I did that right around the entrance and park employees were all over the place. Not one even gave me a hard look and no one acted as if I were violating a rule.

Their smoking policy was designated places only and I wasn't in a designated place at the end of the day. That said, you might just find that you don't need a vape for a day. I was surprised that I didn't. It was the first time in over 4 years of vaping that I was without my Provari all day and not having a craving was a nice surprise.

I'm headed to Disney and universal studios in October. I was told I can vape in the smoking areas. At universal I plan to vape anywhere there is a fog machine since they will be everywhere for Halloween horror nights. Yay for me.

It only takes one person to start a revolution.

Went to Disneyworld in April and saw lots of people vaping. We went to the smoking areas when we wanted to vape but we saw a few people just walking around blowing clouds lol

I looked on the web site, and Kennywood specifically states that no smoking and no vaping of any kind is allowed in the park. Now, Cedar Point still allows smoking, and I vaped *EVERYWHERE* there...

Yuk. I haven't been to Kennywood in a LONG time, and they still allowed smoking back then...

Oh, and Chester? How's the ol' teapot doing? ;)
