I have shot plenty of deer with a smoke hanging out of my mouth, if not seconds after putting one out. The "old timers" out there really don't care and they shoot um too. (I mean REALLY don't care splashing on after shave, smoking a big ol' cigar in their stand, ect.) But
This is absolutely correct, you will NOT see a 230" Booner unless it is an absolute PERFECT combination of events. And even then the chances are slim, a good unchanging wind is going to need to be in that mix somewhere.I know plenty of people who bring home deer and smoke in their stand or blind all day without regard. I don't think it is an end all, but the question is: When that big smart buck that you know is in the area starts lurking around and smells that, will HE bolt?
