Vaping And Hunting...Hunters Weigh In...

You musy not be a real hunter then. Seriously, no way would I do that.

I got some unflavored juice coming for just this reason. I might do like before and use a patch if they seem to be bothered by the vape. Switchback XT for me.

hey hunter guys & gals- i know you're talking about vaping while actually hunting, but what do you do for your power source while off in the woods? i camp in the sticks & recently boughrt an emergency car jump-starter that has a 5V & a usb port on it, but wondering if you came up with an even better idea.

also, as a side... the domestic animal vape-test LOL!!! for 12 years every time i lit a cig my dog gave me a dirty look, sighed, & got up & left. vaping the last 5 months & now i can't get her out from under my feet.

Depends on what kind of batts you're taking about. I understand they have usb solar chargers.

I was hunting up in Hayward WI last year, and took an 18650 battery device out with me. Lasted from dark to dark lol. I would guess that with fairly heavy vaping, one of these batteries would last for two days maybe. Never ran one dry.

Bunch of noisey brothers-in-law would stomp around all over the mountain and drive um right past me. Filled three tags last year I went. They all got ...... at me and didn't invite me anymore. JMHO

I hunt with a 30-06. I also bring a fog machine with me for just dramatic effect. I'm sure vaping would be fine.

The only thing is the difference in needed proximity. An ought six will reach out and touch 'em. I need them to be less than 30-40 yards away...if I can still hit them that far.

...I thought he was a squirrel(as he falls out of tree) and then, I thought he was a hog(as he thrashes around on the ground)...and then I heard a deer running thru the woods(as the third comes to the "rescue")...sounds like acceptable excuses to me

I started bow hunting two years ago and I love it. Havent bagged a whitetail yet but I feel like this is the year. I just started vaping, but i doubt I will vape when i go out this year. To me its just not worth the risk. You said your talking about boar hunting though correct?

Deer don't know what smoke is. They're stupid that way. They don't equate smoke or vapor with people. They don't even equate cars with people. I've seen them follow a person's trail, I've seen them approach a standing hunter. They are curious but they ain't that smart. I think the bigger risk is they'd see you moving rather than smell you.
