Vaping and fasting for a blood test

it depends if you're having issues that diabetes is to ruled out, it'd be best to not have any nicotine before that test (affects glucose levels)


but nothing by mouth means NOTHING by mouth, no coffee, smokes, etc.

if it's just routine it's probably ok. I didn't say that...burn after reading please *lol*

Yes, mine was a fasting test. I don't really have a baseline for blood sugars or whatever that would be give me an apples to apple comparison, but the numbers apparently were not significantly elevated or I would have received some kind of "flag". Only instructions I got were to take Vitamin D supplements.

I think I would schedule the test as early in the day as possible and suffer through a few hours without vaping just for the piece of mind. My blood test wasn't really scheduled, I just had a late morning appointment and hadn't had anything but a cup of coffee (and a vape) that day because I thought the Dr. might want to do it.
