so i am a moderate deer hunter, whenever i have time and its the season i go out (which isnt often enough)

i mostly bow hunt, sometimes i gun hunt though, more of a thrill and a real "hunt" to me bow hunting. Anyway when i am up in the tree the past few years, i would try not and smoke (analogs) but sitting up there alllll day its kinda hard not to. (and for those who dont know, if any.... deer have a great sence of smell, they can smell your scent from a ways away.) so of course right after i get done with a smoke a deer walks in and looks right up at me :( damned analog smell gave me away, i knew it!!!! this has happened a couple times, deer would come in and smell me right away looked right up at me, and i was even wearing earth scent.

now that im vaping, i wonder if the deer will be able to smell the vapor?? ?? maybe, but even if they do maybe ill buy some apple flavor juice and they will come running in to me instead of running away LMAO

I always smoked while deer hunting because my Grandpa smoked while deer hunting and never seemed to have a problem getting deer. I will say that I have seen/killed more deer with a cigarette in my mouth than without. I'm sure they "can" smell it, but I don't think they really care. I doubt they were actually looking at you, but if they were, it probably wasn't from the cigarette. Maybe you drew too hard a breath, they probably hear better than they smell.

naughty gurl!!! i vape deer pee all the time.. pshhhh

no i wear earth scent smells like dirt...
travis: i dunno man, maybe we gots them smart deers up here lol. i was sitting perfectly still everytime, never had a smoke lit but just got done with one, i didnt even have a chance to move and they looked right up at me, and they were sticking their noses in the air and snorting... which tells me they smelled somethin. thats why i put on that earth scent before i even go off the path to my tree, because they can smell your scent of where you have walked in.

Drip some deer pee on your atty! LOL.... Dont you hunters spray yourself with deer pee anyway?

Maybe it's because rifle season here typically runs right along with rut season, so when I'm hunting the deer are in rut, and them bucks don't care about anything other than gettin a little... Or it could be the fact that ranchers burn their pastures here every year so that it grows back quick and green, and the deer are used to smelling smoke. Regardless, cigs put off a pretty strong smell, these don't. I don't imagine they would give off enough of an odor for the deer to take notice.

Oh, vaping deer pee ain't bad... once you get used to the aftertaste...

yessss i could make a killing for money.... the all new doe pee vape juice, it will have all the big bucks coming right to your tree lmao

have a road side stand with ecigs and deer pee yummmmmm hunters would be lined up for a mile waiting on my mircle juice lmao

ya up here the deer are used to nice quiet woods/forests no burning of anything really, and bow season isnt really in the rut time so that may be why they are more alert up here.

Try using apple flavor juice or some other deer friendly flavors. Who knows you might find the next great deer attractant and market it to bass pro.

I would try selling it to Cabela's first..They seem more doe pee vape friendly! Plus I have been to a few of their stores around this country and the sales people are way nice and might even give it a vape themselves!

Well, I've killed 6 deer in my life. 5 of them walked within my range while I was smoking an analog. My theory on this is because I was hunting in Ohio, most of the hunting land is located around farms. So the deer are quite used to hearing and smelling farming equipment, along with the smell of people. So a cigarette smell wasn't so alarming to them.

The last time I hunted there were 5 of us and we spent 4 hours in the woods without seeing a single deer. After that we all met at the truck and were standing around drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes and a fairly large buck walked within 10 feet of us before it noticed us and ran off. There has to be a reason for this.
