does anyone know any web pages that have anything about bodybuilders vaping. I use nicotine carts but am thinking of switching to the no nicotine carts so I can get more out of my bodybuilding. I read somewhere that nicotine effects some hormone that helps build muscle I cant exactly remember where the thread was or the name of the hormones but I know that nicotine can help performance and also is a governing factor in weight loss. However, I have seen recent studies that say we dont actually get much nicotine from vaping so maybe I am worrying for nothing? I do get cravings for a vape after I have not had a vape for a while so I think there is some nicotine released and I do get a sort of "got my fix" feeling after I vape.
Any bodybuilders out there who vape know anything about this? (how it effects anabolism, cortisol, thermogenesis or anything else important?)
Thanks everyone.

Well, this is only observational, but i find that I get plentty of nicotine from vaping. I was a 2 pack a day smoker, and when i started vaping, I basically stopped analogs almost immediatly. When I take a nice big rip of my vape, and exhale slowly through my nose, i find the head rush very intoxicating. the nic almost goes straight to my brain.

As far as boy building goes, I would look into the metabolism of things like PG and VG, as i hear that the PG at least gets broken down into lactic acid which can adversly affect your work out. I find that workkng out till i 'feel the burn' is not the best way to go about things.

Scientific american article on lactic acid build up during strenous work outs

All I can add is my personal experience. In Grade school and high school I was a competative swimmer. After I started cigs, it took me longer to get into peak shape. Then life happened and I smoked for over 45 years. Three years ago I started working out again, not swimming, but cardio and weight training. The first two years were brutal, but I lost 35 pounds and started feeling very good.

Then I found e-cigs. My breathing and therefore, my endurance got better almost immediately, with steady improvement over the last nine months being off analogs.

Now I am in the best shape of my life, with the best endurance and breathing ability I can ever remember. I loved smoking and would have never given it up if not for vap'n. I don't know if I will ever give up vap'n, cause I love it as well and vap'n in no way, that I can tell, gets in the way of my workouts.

At 58 years of age, I am not building bulk, but my tone, endurance and breathing is exceptional. Thank you e-cigs!

Don't have anymore info then anyone else offered but as a side thought to the bodybuilding subject I would like to see some of the Legit leading supplement companies try researching vaping some of their supplements. Not protein or anything with calories but maybe some of the others like NO or others if possible for better delivery into the body.
