Just built a tank I've had for abit. Built it to .4 as its a airy mother. Also cut my 12mg juice with some VG as I'm kinda a wuss.

Great vape at 35w.

So I turned it up to 60w and found two things.

1. The flavor was absolutely unreal. Just blew me away. And this is my ADV cut 50%. WOW!!!

2. Its too hot for me.

Higher watts is where the flavor is for sure. I gotta find away to tap into that flavor arena but lose the heat. I a using a TC mod but not a TC build cause I'm a baby and don't wanna do a dual coil nickle build.

Alot of very fun research awaits me. I'm a flavor junkie and I think I just saw the light.

I wish you would put the smiley face on the first time. The candle flame set fire to my nose hairs when I was dripping the wax onto my lips, and now my drip tip is clogged with wax. It was a scented candle too.

The vape isnt hot for me its fine but just the metal tip you can cook a steak on lol..i ordered a few tips hope they work and picked up a freemax starre i been hearing a bit about..mostly thru reviews on YT.

Did you order an adapter for the tips? Other tips won't fit without it. Do you open the airholes on the tip itself? My atlantis 2 stays much cooler than my other sub ohm tanks.

Don't know if you've tried high wattage or not, but on a proper build/setup it can be just as cool as a 2 ohm build at 8 watts. I don't get the attitude here towards people who vape differently than others, kinda off putting, especially to new members.

You made me think a little, I have to concede: I do have an attitude towards two kinds of posts on ECF:
1. Posts proclaiming that only authentic hardware is really suitable for vaping: childishly elitistic opinion, which can affect people with limited income and make them to spend much more than really needed.
2. Posts proclaiming that high-wattage vaping is the best way to vape. I am pretty sure it is unhealthy way to vape, and while anybody has right to vape in any way anybody likes, I do not want ECF to become a place for propaganda of high-voltage vaping.

On point #2...

Make your mind up.
Is it high wattage or high voltage you have a problem with?

Because I vape more than 2 volts below what my wife's provari 2.5 can put out.

But that's at 65 watts more than it can do.

I actually understand what I'm doing. I do not ASSUME that what you are doing is wrong and FABRICATE justification for my assumption by saying your way is unhealthy.

BTW... i prefer a COOL vape. ;)

Though, I agree, the holier than thou attitude (such as you mentioned in point one yet exuded in point two) is suffocating around here.

You are right. There is no medical proof. There is not a single piece of research on high wattage vaping. So, it is matter of belief. You believe it is harmless, I believe it is harmful. We cannot even argue - we cannot prove our believes. The only thing we can do as a true believers is to proclaim our beliefs. Missionary work, you know...
My juice vaporizes at the same temp as yours.

How many ml of juice do you consume daily?
How many mg of nic do you consume daily?
What percentage of flavoring do you use?

These will be the variables to consider as long as you're not getting burnt hits. Consumption. The dose makes the poison.

My stats...
5ml joose daily
250 mg nic daily
And when I'm using flavors (likely to be the most dangerous constituent) I max out just a hair over 6% total flavoring

Perhaps. But is this something you think because of some evidence you've seen or just a feeling? I'm not sure what the fundamental difference is between a higher wattage and a lower wattage as far as physical and chemical characteristics of the vapor. I can imagine that higher wattage (and therefor temperature) may lead to breakdown or production of certain compounds but that's just a guess. In any case, I can't see how it would be worse than actual combustion which is a much higher temperature and I would guess that the temperature range involved in vaporization actually results in far less production of hazardous compounds than combustion. I'd like to see more research in this area, of course. And in medical vaporization studies of other substances, this has indeed been found to be the case.

TL; DR: I realize there maybe some risk, but I would think those risks are statistically about the same along the range of temps/wattages used in vaporization.
If done correctly, same temp over larger surface. Anything hotter goes from vapor production to scorching joose.

Something wrong in your message. I cannot believe you vape 50 mg juice.

Something wrong in your message. I cannot believe you can't fathom vaping at higher power can be for the purpose of putting down the pv and freeing up your hands.

See how that works?

Though it's actually good to see someone making that connection. Pretty sure most would glance over it.

But no, my math is correct and you deciphered it correctly.

And I do that at 80 watts and lung hit.

I should congratulate myself. Finally I have met a real non-closeted masochist.

When smoking I liked nicotine hits, especially when I was drinking. To smoke a cigar like it was a cigarette. Or full length of Black and Mild as fast as possible. When vaping I tried 33 mg. Found it not enjoyable at all - too short vaping time.

I understand your point. But I think it is unique point.

LOL not a masochist by any stretch

You have to understand what I went through smoking to know that though.

I've told this story countless times. Once more won't hurt.

I was at 4pad.
I tried to quit.
Wound up with 2 21mg patches replaced repeatedly throughout the day on my arm, chewing packs of nicorette and still smoking 4pad.

When I started vaping I knew I was going to need high nic. So I started with everything from 12 mg to 36 mg from Mount Baker in all pg/vg blends.

It wasn't enough so I asked the forum where I could get something stronger.

The answer I got was basically that I was going to kill myself.

Meanwhile I was rebuilding my coils in my gear and slowly working my way to more power.

I took baby steps for a few months until I got enough nic that the severe stress headaches and other symptoms subsided.

I was very careful about it. But the end game happened to be making my own joose @ 50 mg with the cleanest, most neutral nic I could source and vaping that at 80 watts.

I could vape lower watts but I wind up sucking on the mod constantly trying to get a satisfying hit. This practice had me once up to 20 ml a day.

So 80 watts @ 50 mg drastically reduces my consumption overall and allows me to have a hand free for most of the day.

And yes, I think we all agree my way is very unique. But maybe not forever. Who knows...

Yes, let's hope not forever.
At least you have found the least harmful (for you) way to vape - consuming just 5 ml of juice. Congratulations.
