Travel and Vaping vapes on a plane

Sorry for the poor title

Im flying to Thailand in a few weeks and its a good 13 hour flight. obviously ill have my pv with me, but using it on a plane is worrying! Plumes of 'smoke' coming from my seat wont go unnoticed and im wondering the best way of dealing with this? Im happy to go to the wc and vape in there but im worried about the super sensitive smoke alarm they have?

When I fly I do vape in the wc, just blow the vapor down to the floor.
Or I heard some people vape under the blanket.
Just keep the vapor in as long as you can.

i wouldn't vape on a plane without asking a flight attendant first. Someone might think you are smoking a real cig and this might cause a chain reaction.

Double inhale always works for me. Inhale vapor, then inhale once or twice more before exhaling. The vapor that comes out is usually minimal.

I have been guilty of vaping on a plane, not in the WC either, right at my seat. But I use a small pen style device (Boge BUD with the BUD sapphire clearomizer), I just hold the vapor for awhile and then slowly exhale, no vapor, no issue. It looks like I am chewing on a pen while reading my nook, no harm no foul. But if someone recognized what I was doing and asked me to stop I would stop.

This is called stealth vaping, and works like a charm. There's no need to blow out plumes of vapor. I do this every day at work, and it has become second nature to me. It's not really "allowed" here, but since there's no direct rules against it, and I don't blow out plumes of smoke, most people don't even realize I'm doing anything at all. If you can learn to master this, you shouldn't have any issues with vaping anywhere. If you're just looking to blow out plumes of smoke to have people come up to you to ask you why you're smoking only so you can educate them, then you probably wouldn't want to do this on the plane. I've understood from various veterans that you may have some issues with Thailand Customs on e cigarettes, therefore I would suggest to dismantle your mod or cheaper ego type pv. Just my 2 sense.

Yup yup, inhale from e-cig, then 2nd inhale without e-cig, then hold it for awhile, should have none or almost no vapor. I've noticed the longer you hold it, the less vapor you exhale.

Hiding the vapor is easy, but I wouldn't stress about the smoke detector.
You're highly unlikely to set one off, and even if you did, just play dumb.
It's not like they'll smell any smoke.

LOL that's true, they won't smell smoke. But they may smell any tasty juices you may be using You might always consider using an unflavored liquid while travelling as well. Since some juices are VERY strong in smell, this would help with nobody noticing what you're doing. It won't taste as good, but will get the job done. I'd still be careful around the smoke detectors though. Honestly I'd probably use it in my seat, but as I stealth vape daily, I'm very practiced at it and am pretty sure I could get by. I wouldn't try it if it was a stealth-vaping noob.

Anyone know if customs will be an issue with ejuice like the guy above says? This didn't even cross my mind tbh!

Im really not worried if anyone smells watermelon!! Haha. Ill just have some watermelon flavoured sweets in.my pocket

got a couple of weeks till I fly yet so ill get some practise in. The biggest issue I have is when I inhale the vapor leaves my mouth first in a big ball and I suck it all back in, its just a habit I've done for years and breaking that is gonna be hard!
