First off the new model hotels actually use a consent flow fire alarm in there rooms(this means the fire alarm is taking in air from the room to detect the smallest amount of smoke). Luckily everyone here is vaping not smoking, producing no smoke into the air just a short lasting vapor. In no way will these fire alarms pick up the vapor even if blew directly into the air circulating components. I have also found many establishment are ok with the idea of their guest vaping even in a lot of non smoking areas. I just highly recommend asking those around you and explain what you're doing before proceeding with it, just respect the wishes of those around you and you'll learn you can vape in a lot more places then you think. :D

This is true but some (even newer hotels) have optical detectors (along with some planes) and vapor will set those off. The best thing to do is to not blow vapor into or towards a detector since it is difficult to tell which one they are using. The one I set off was fine until it got hit with a direct hit!
