Hi, I just started vaping. I am using an x6 vape pen I bought from ebay. After using it several times the battery died. I want to charge it but I can't because the ring that connects the tank to the battery seems to be stuck. I tried everything I used rubber bands to get a good grip on it but it won't come off. I also used rubber gloves but that did not help. It's as if the ring is glued into the battery.

Wow that's a nice looking Mod. I'll have to look for one. As far as your 'sticky' situation. I seen many folks suggest putting the device in the freezer for a few minutes then trying to separate. Seems to work for them?

Edit: Darn! It's an internal battery mod. Not for me. Does look good tho.

I'm guessing you don't remember them, the X6?
Sadly it is infamous. $14 (entire kit, wholesale) that became $99.99 on vendors sites and even $149 in B&M stores. It's a glorified eGo that broke very soon for many buyers.
I would trash it and start afresh.
(Sorry)

I actually LIKED the X6. They were very lightweight and lasted me all day. I was getting them for $9.99 and $12 and $14 at the time.

The thing you have to know about them is that the threads on the 510/ego connector are easily stripped.

That is why I always used an adapter on mine........so I never had to screw on and off anything from the actual threads on it.

Anybody buying a "cheap" chinese mod should avail themselves of a $2 adaptor. I remember vamos and vamo clones had this problem, I had an Apollo mod that stripped the first week I had it.

Anyway, if you liked the X6 just try a joyetech AIO......it's easy peasy and perfect for a new vaper. About $18. Just be careful not to drop it and break the glass.
The tank and battery are all one unit, so you will never have to screw or unscrew anything but the top cap to fill your AIO.

For a new vaper I higly suggest it!

You could try to put your X6 in the freezer for 15 min or so and use pliers and wrap the ring first with a thin towel.......but I'm pretty sure those threads on the X6 will be toast now. :(

Wide rubber band and groovelock pliers...

I actually really liked my X6, had some variation of a protank on it... Was sad when the threads stripped :(

Still like the look, someone should make a 18650 version of it with short circuit/low ohm protection and a much better 510 lols..

I seem to remember that the X6 is a sealed internal battery...you charge it via a ego style external charger. Does not come apart.

No it doesn't come apart, but as I understood the post the OP has a "tank" stuck on top of it, stuck on the 510/ego connector that won't come off.
