Ever since I started vaping my nose has gotten continually worse. It is now so dry and scabbed I can hardly breath through it. I know that vaping dehydrates you, no doubt about it. I don't exhale through my nose. No dragon tricks for me sadly. I also drink so much water throughout the day now I feel like a slushy waterbed on legs. I experimented with higher vg vs. higher pg and seeing if it's worse with dripping vs. my tank but there doesn't seem to be a difference in my case. I was wondering if any of you veterans had any other remedies besides hydration. I have taken to rubbing coconut oil in my nostrils which seems to give good temporary relief but I can't be doing that all day at work and such. Any advice or tips?

Mines gone the exact opposite. Mine feels almost drippy at times, doesn't matter what I try as far as vg or pg. I only use tanks, so nothing to compare there. However, I have a friend who says she has same problem as you, she's tried a saline spray recently that seems to be helping her.

Yep. VG and PG both absorb (or are absorbed into) water quite readily. That includes the moisture in your nose. Saline spray several times a day works wonders... took two days of it to notice a difference, here, but I do exhale through the nose some.

Wow maybe you are allergic to propelyne glycol? Maybe it is some of the food additives in your juice? I hope this doesn't happen to me.
Welcome!!! It's an adjustment to your body...my whole body is probably still in shock from stopping smoking so abruptly after 36 years!

I never had any problems myself, but if my ol' lady walks through a cloud from my drippers it makes her nose itch and she starts sneezing. Dunno what it is. Smaller puffs of the same juices out of my my kayfuns and such don't do it. Just when I drip. She's still a die-hard analog smoker though and her Misty's do the same thing to me since I went digital. So I don't feel so bad. Lol!

odd... VG is hydroscopic, it absorbs moisture, if one gets VG on them the area is prone to absorbs moisture not dry it out, ever wonder why so many skin lotions contain Glycerin???( vg)
It's because the vg is a vapor. As it passes over moist areas of your skin, it does exactly what liquid vg does and absorbs water... from the skin. Unlike liquid vg, it's a vapor and doesn't hang around to replenish and retain moisture in the skin. It absorbs a little, then dissapates into the air.. with the moisture it took. PG is worse.

Thanks guys! I will have to pick some saline spray and give it a try. I was trying other possible remedies I had around the house and found a little almond oil up the nose via Q-tip really gave me some lasting relief, but saline spray will be a lot easier to carry and use at work.

I take deep long lung hits and was realizing if I don't exhale all of the vapor in one breath some will come out of my nose with my next regular breath. Especially while dripping, too much clouds for one exhale I guess, haha. I am going to try to be more mindful when I vape and see if that improves my condition. But I hope my body may get more accumulated to vaping in the coming months. And I will keep chugging water! :)
