Vamo

Is it just a matter of preference or is it better to use 2 batteries or just the one 18650. I am drooling over the Vamo at fasttech too and I see they offer it both ways.

How smart of you to ask, I just ordered both. Here was my thought with two short batteries you can use it both short or long. With the two long batteries you have a backup but it will only work as a long one unless you buy extra batteries. Since I thought the price was amazing and a back up is a good idea I got both. So I can have two long or two short or one of each and two spare batteries. I've heard the first version the longer 18560 rattled a bit, but with the v2 a better spring fixed it.

the SS won't have the finish wear off after a while like the gunmetal one does. not sure how the chrome one does with that. I bought the gunmetal and the finish hasn't worn off yet, but I think they all do eventually... I really like the look of the gunmetal, but it's hard to find anything that matches it

That's smart of you to get both I just got the long, but I can see how the short would come in handy if you wanted to carry it around with you. BTW, no rattles with mine!

Ordered my Vamo from fasttech on the 22 of may reached the postterminal in Oslo, Norway today. Unable to track before it reached Singapore on the 28. Fasttech seems to have done their job. My only concern now is Norwegian postservice.
