V2 cig starter kit

I just ordered my V2cig starter kit at V2cig.com, it is by far the best starter kit for a novice user that I have found. The KR808D 2 piece design is convenient and the flavors and prices for the pre loaded cartridges are superb. I got the ultimate starter kit and I am happy with it, but there's an economy kit for only $60 which I would suggest if you aren't familiar with the KR808D or V2.

Hi Mentholmaniac!

My husband and I bought a starter kit from V2 along with the notebook cig. It's a nice setup and they have good customer service. They seem to have issues keeping up with certain flavors of their carts, but we weren't affected by it.

I've decided to try Smokeless Image's VOLT kit for myself. I like how they have more flavors, juices, and the prices are lower.

Enjoy your V2!

I also started with V2 for my first KR808 set up. They have good hardware, love their cartos. Their flavours are nothing to get excited about and they are expensive for replacement batteries and stuff. I've moved on from V2 now, but they were a good starting point for me. I hope you enjoy their products and you can also shop around for other KR808 gear and different juices. Make sure you refill the cartomizers, they are good quality and can be refilled plenty of times.

What reason would someone choose the V2 started kit over one of those $30 started kits?

I don't know the answer to that one. Mini's are usually more expensive than the ego's. I think the look of the pv appeals to someone that hasn't vaped before and they sell to a lot of people just trying out pvs. They also apparently advertise a lot.

I usually only order from registered suppliers here on the forum, and read through their subforum here if they have one. Also check out the warranty page on their website. I notice that V2 has a 'lifetime' warranty but there's a limit to how many replacements. I steer clear of any website that only offers a replacement if it's DOA.

I'm right behind you
I started with the v2 ultimate as well. Quality product, but after a few hours on this board you will realize as I did the prices are quite high comparable to other quality kits available. I did stop smoking immediately using the 808's from v2, which is a good thing, but I have already concluded it's just not the right vape for me and I should have my new SLB kGo in the mail tomorrow. I agree with Adam, v2 has some great carts that I have refilled over and over. But any e-cig that get's you off analogs is a good e-cig, and although v2 is what I now consider overproced in their starter kits, they do make a quality product. Anyway, welcome to ECF maniac!

Hi Laks. We chose the V2 because a friend recommended it and we got the 15% off. I resisted Smokeless Image's Volt because we had an e cigarette, that a family member sold to us a few years back, that was also named Volt. It was a three piece set-up and it wasn't very good quality. I've since learned from my mistakes! :)

same here. i started with v2. found some better batteries (eg bloog) but discovered late that v2 cartos were some of the best. they lasted longer than others and didn't burn the filler. now on to ce2 deluxe for even more refills :)

Many of those $30 kits only come with 1 battery, and some are of poor quality.

V2 is a KR808, and is of good quality. Their batteries are slightly more expensive than some other KR808s, but not a ripoff. Their low resistance cartos are also quite good, and their prices are about the same as the KR808 cartos at Vapor4Life.

The Volt is slightly cheaper, and is also of good quality.

I agree. V2's KR808 cartos outperform most other cartos I have used, and are excellent. I looked at buying Vapor4Life's cartos, but they are priced the same. I think V2 gets unfair criticism to an extent, because they do advertise a lot. I don't like slick marketing either, but really, while a little more expensive than some others, it's not a complete ripoff. Their juices aren't great, but I refill my blank cartos with Copper Creek juice anyway.
