Once again I welcome all of you back for today's review of the Tenet and Tenet Pod Kits from uwell that were supplied to me from HealthCabin for review. Both of these kits are almost identical as far as vape features go but as you will see, are very different in form. I will say that both are really geared towards MTL vaping but you can get a tight RDL vape from them. Both of these use a internal battery ( TENET - 750MaH ) - ( TENET KOKO - 950MaH ) and use the Caliburn G and G2 coils. As always lets start out with some information on both devices then I'll give my feelings and findings on them in my review.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF BOTH

I was surprised and happy to see both devices come in a small case that after the devices are removed can be used for anything that will fit inside such as vaping supplies of coils, wire, cotton, building tools etc. Both devices rest in pre formed foam cutouts giving a very nice presentation.

Inside the case of the Tenet is the packaged spare 1.2Ω coil in it's own cutout spot below the device with the 0.8Ω coil preinstalled in the 2ml pod. Next to the spare coil is a thin piece of cardboard with TENET printed on it, the charge cord is in it's own spot as well below it.

Your paper information of the user manual, warranty card and a instruction card on how to fill the pod are under the precut foam. On the Tenet Koko the pod is not attached as it is with the Tenet but rather sits in a box with the spare 1.2Ω coil, charge cord and a metal chain for the lanyard. Paper information is under the precut foam piece just like the tent. The pod of the Koko is plastic wrapped for some reason even though it's in a hard plastic shell.

I have to tell you that the unpolished look on both devices look great and having no smooth edges with the screw and rivet design really give you a good grip even though both devices are so lightweight ( TENET - 50.4 GRAMS ) - ( TENET KOKO - 61.5 GRAMS ) . Both devices charge rather quickly at 2a with the charge port being on the bottom of the devices using USB-C connections.

    20230211_140859.jpg

Both devices have bright LED lighting also towards the bottom of the devices with the Tent using a series of 9 small LED lights on the button side, the Tenet Koko on the other hand uses only 1 bright LED on both sides of it.

The LED lights illuminate when vaped or when charging and are a color coded battery meter for both devices. When plugged in to charge or placing the pod inside the device a haptic sound with vibration is heard and felt. Battery meter lights are as follows.

    GREEN - 60 - 100%

    BLUE - 30 - 60%

RED - 30% And Under, Once Battery Reaches 30% The LED'S Flash 10 Times With Vibration Buzz

    20230212_130517.jpg

As I said in my opening statement both devices are very similar vape wise but each is different not only in form but function as well such as airflow feed holes, the Tenet uses 2 but the Tenet Koko only has one.

    20230212_054018.jpg

Another difference is the Tenet Koko is a auto draw only device while the Tenet has 2 ways of firing, auto draw or manual button activation, the textured button can be deactivated by pressing it 2 times quickly making it safe for pocket carry, the vape is the same using auto draw or button.

    20230212_062805.jpg

Both devices are shipped with the 0.8Ω G coil preinstalled, as you can see in the photo below the coil has a tangent flat edge on one side that has to be lined up to the tangent flat edge of the pod. At the bottom of the pod is a Red control dial that is the fully adjustable airflow control.

    20230213_134627.jpg

Both devices airflow are very smooth and don't stop during mid vape like many other devices sometimes do. The Tenet and Tenet Koko use 2 auto draw feed tubes, Auto draw works so well I never use the button to fire on the Tenet.

No need to worry about viewing your juice with clear juice windows on both sides of the devices, on one side the Pro Focs name is stamped on the clear window, the other side shows the minimum fill line that's also stamped on the juice viewing window. Pro-Focs is Uwell's flavor adjustment tech.

I'm very happy to tell you all there is no rubber plug to deal with when it's time to fill up either device because of the snap off mouthpiece. To fill simply push the mouthpiece forward or backward to snap it off, this is easier to do when the pod is installed in the devices. Once removed the Red fill port is visible, across from it is the air release vent hole that prevents any messy fill ups.

I really like the appearance of both the Tenet and Tenet Koko, I will be getting more coils for each with the Tenet Koko being a definite shirt pocket winner, in the summer all I usually wear for shirts are pocket T Shirts and the Tenet Koko will fill the bill perfectly because of it's size and weight. I make this point because it's so small that I sometimes lose it in my pocket full of everyday junk.

    20230214_142204.jpg

The full size Tenet will also fit a shirt pocket with ease but it sticks out just a tad and tends to lean on one side because of it being so slender, it slips into a jeans side pocket easily and the pod never separates while inside or when pulling it out to vape as some devices do.

    20230214_151323.jpg

Both are not good devices but GREAT devices because of the ease of use and the full array of features, I thought the haptic vibration buzz would become annoying but just the opposite is true.

Many times in a busy day you just vape not paying attention to the battery meter in a pod system if it has one and you go to vape and it's dead, with the haptic feedback you know your battery capacity is down to 30% meaning time to charge soon. The look of these may not be for everybody but I love them.

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

Well as you can tell I have been amazed at just how well these pod system devices performed and really appreciate the extra touches that Uwell put in them. I haven't even stated the most important feature yet, flavor is way above average in my opinion for a pod styled device.

I always use 2 flavors that I know very well because I vape them daily in a MTL pod device and RTA. Both flavors came through very well on both coils with my preference being the warmer 0.8Ω coil. Hand fit is good but these are so small I wouldn't expect it not to be.

I think the auto draw on the devices is one of the best if not the best from the many pod devices that I have reviewed, and there have been very many. Both devices last a pretty long time needing 2 recharges in a day of 8- 10 hours if used exclusively and vaping heavily as I did during testing.

I never had a misfire or vape stop halfway through and having a nice top fill without the usual rubber plug to deal with but rather a method that's mess free and works easily and is fast as well.

Sorry for the gushing but both are really great little finds and I recommend both of them 100%.
I would like to thank Sue and HealthCabin for sending these for review and I also want to thank you all for reading my review of these devices, I hope all your questions have been answered.

    THANK YOU

Great review Bob! I’m not surprised you like it. The Caliburn pods I’ve tried were very good.
Thanks Hitt, The flavor being above average for a pod device is one thing but the extras that Uwell put into these devices is way above many other manufacturers.

Both of these are in constant use replacing what at the time was a perfect pod vape for work and out and about ( Freemax Onnix 2 ). The coil lifespan is fantastic as well, I could kick myself in the behind because Sourcemore had a special price for these of $8.00 for a couple days but I procrastinated too long and when I went to buy the sale was over.

You absolutely nailed these devices - I agree 100%. I also love the metallic design.

    Such a thorough, concise review.
Thank you Ange, I just changed coils on both from their original review date plus review time before that, great coil life. The Gold one you have really looks great, I might have to grab the Gold one now.
