Uwell Crown unscrewing problem

I have been trying for at least 20 minutes to unscrew my crown tank from my IPV3 LI. I must have screwed it on tight and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a solid grip on it because of the position of the adjustable airflow and the bottom of the tank has the edges in them that are supposed to help you grip the tank when unscrewing it but all they are doing is making it painful to unscrew. Any ideas on how to unscrew it?

BTW, YES I am unscrewing it in the correct direction...

try wrapping a rubber band around the base, I find it helps when I have similar issues unscrewing my subtank mini from certain mods. my KFL clone also loves ot get stuck on my hammer, and I have to bust out the rubber band trick on it too ^^

Mine has been resistant to unscrewing from my Boxer mod.
I can see how it would be trouble on my IPV3 also.
These mods are much wider than say a 22mm IPV D2 or IPV mini V2 or an SX mini.
I just grab it as hard as I can, fingertips stuffed below that knurled ring and go for broke.
It's worked so far.

Milescadre's rubber band solution sounds a bit more civilized and yes, smarter.
Let us know how you remove it.
