You said you had an XCUBE 2 if im re-reading correctly you could always try running your crown in ss tc mode and see if that helps get rid of the taste any. Any time a type of wire is offered in temp control I would utilize that over power mode strictly due to the extra possibility to eliminate dry hits.

Yea I have the x cube 2. Before trying it I'm going to have to buy a new coil for it. My friend was having the same problem. He said he left his on like 45-50 watts for like a whole day and then turned it up to 80 and it's working fine for him. I'll have to try all these things once I buy new coils.

Idk why but I'm having some problems with my tfv4 tank wicking as well. It's only bubbling out of 1 side out of the 4. I'm using the triple coil right now.

I was told by my vape shop clerk that crown coils do need to be broken in a lot, but you if you baby it too much it won't break in properly. He said do a minimum of 50w for the 25 coil until you stop getting cotton tastes then bump it up by 5w increments.

Poking holes in the cotton helps too
