indeed, mine shattered as well

I'm not certain what you mean by reverse threaded. When i try to twist, the bottom part comes loose, unless you mean that I should be turning the other way

Reverse threaded - to lock you turn one way. When its locked it doesn't twist off. If you unlock it and keep twisting, the button assembly comes off

If you twist the ring and the button assembly comes off, spin it the other way till it stops, grab it in a cloth or T-shirt and crank it till pops looks. Worked for me, at least!

thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, it's stuck in the unlocked position, which is fine for use, but I cant get a good handle on the ring and the bottom piece

My local b&m has a Footoon Hades 26650 mod and a Geobukseon Turtleship mod.... And I haves some money to spend!

the TS has copper contacts and accepts 18650s. Not sure if its telescoping or not. The Hades is a solidbody 26650 with silver plated brass contacts.

Which would you guys choose and why?

Have you actually handled the Hades? I thought it felt flimsy and plasticky when I got to fiddle with one... it's lighter than my Launcher! :glare:

I would go with the Turtleship before I would go with the Hades. I'm all for a 26650 mod, just not that one.

Bought the Hades... Its BURLY.
It does feel a little flimsy at first, but when you put a battery in, its nearly perfect. Crunchy button, magnets that shatter when you try to put them in and a spring that needs to be cut in half to be usable, but I really like the short stature (about the length of an 18490 mod) and VD on it is nearly nothing. With an Atomic RDA + 24AWG Kanthal + shorty delrin drip tip = freaking awesome cloud machine with maH and looks to boot...

is there any play in the switch after you cut the spring? like if you were to turn the mod upside down would the button slightly push in before it hits the length of the spring? i'm trying to sort out a solution for my spring because it's intolerably stiff and like seems to be the trend, my magnets shattered within an hour of buying it and getting it home.

The magnets are much much stiffer than the spring. I use the magnets and think its great. What I do not like about 26650 is the battery options. I just feel like MNKE's leave more to be desired.

BTW the Cerebrus isn't available yet as far as I recall... If you found one somewhere, do you have a link?

There's not any play in the spring, but I actually went to a hardware store brass spring and cut it from there. It was still too stiff.

As far as the Cerberus goes, I haven't found one yet and I don't believe they're out yet. I do have my shop owner setting one aside for me though when they get here :)
