I don't steep, but I have read that the cobalt blue bottles are slightly better than amber at filtering out UV light. I don't think light has anything to do with steeping, as it's all part of flavor-compound bonding and thourough mixing of the components.

No need to apologize , i am always joking around and that post you are referring to is just another example .
