So I was playing around and I built this:

Not the prettiest, but it works! :vapor:

Well, I was using 28 AWG Kanthal A1 - immediately noticed it was vaping pretty good for awhile, but then all the sudden started getting weaker, tried tightening the screws and BAM! Wire snapped on 2 of the coils. Was ...... off like no other. Finally came to the conclusion that the Trident V2 is trash. Pure trash. So IMHO I 'Upgraded' to a Patriot. My Patriot V1.2 and my V3 Tronix Flip - are a match made in USA Heaven. On my Patriot RDA - I'm running a .20 Ohm 'Parallel Coil'. As you can tell by my other post about the Trident V2 - I wasn't impressed - by anything it had to offer. Flavor was good, throat hit was good, vapor was good, but working with it was a ...... I look forward to eventually building a quad coil Patriot, just to show it can be done, and to do it seamlessly unlike with the Trident. As those slots were unbelievably small to work with - and the screws - are a joke.
