Hey vapers! Quick question. I'm about to get into RDA's, which I've never had, and I've finally settled on the Trident. I simply cannot dish out the $95, especially seeing as I've never even had a dripper, so I will suffice for a clone. Now I can get the Trident V2 clone for $33 and the original Trident clone for $18 - if you were in my boat what would you do?
Are the improvements worth nearly double the price?
I like that it only has one o-ring as people said the original Trident was tough to get apart, but they both seem equally difficult in changing airflow so there's not much improvement there. I just want a nice dripper that's going to perform as needed.
on a side note, how do you like drippers like dripping over tanks? Do you drip always or only in your home?
I like to switch up flavors often so I see this as a good fit for me. My fluid is already on hand at all times so carrying it wont be a big deal. I'll still have my Protank 3 and more spares to fall back on. I just hope that the dripper holds enough drips for 20-30 puffs. People say dripping is messy, but I think unscrewing and filling my tanks is messy and especially difficult when most of my time is spent on the road. I'm just having a pretty hard time deciding because my tanks work now but they definitely have cons such as my preference for VG fluids that don't want to wick on a system designed for a 50/50 mix, so I go in to take out a few strands of wick and then I'm gurgling and juice is in my mouth and on my pants and what not. The Taifun GT is on my to buy list as well, but I feel I need a dripper, and if I don't fall in love the Trident would still be a perfect flavor sampler.
