if i was better with electronics i would mod one myself, but sadly i am not (yet)

Might make a nice portable power supply for a passthrough? I know nothing about this product, but I can kinda picture it in my mind with this thing strapped to your belt, then just plug in a passthrough and vape I doubt it would work, though, I wouldn't think the amp output would be much considering the application it was designed for

I don't know, haven't had any experience with a true passthrough. It would probably work fine for stuff like the eGo passthroughs or the Darwin, where vaping is done off the internal battery and the external source is charging only. In fact, if it has a USB connection for the output it should work fine for those types.
For a true passthrough where you'd be vaping off of that battery pack, 1 amp wouldn't cut it. If the output is 5v, then any carto/atty under 5 ohms would exceed 1 amp. I'm not sure what would happen if you tried to push it too hard, if it would drop the output voltage or if it would cut out completely. Definitely wouldn't make for a satisfying vape as-is if you even could rig a passthrough up to it and I definitely don't have the know-how to mod it to work, myself ;-)

I think you need 2amps to power a 5V PT, but I think I might go ahead and order it for my iPhone, could come in handy for sure!
