trade offs/ balance

I was taking my dogs for a walk this morning and noticed all of the car exhaust- it was horrible, but it never used to bother me. Must have have enough CO in my system....but it got me thinking about trade offs and how things seem to balance.

For example, the smell of exhaust fumes really bothers me now, but i can smell new mown grass, fresh soil, and roses!

I sneeze more but cough less

I can tell when my dogs need their teeth brushed, on the other hand, i can do something about it.

Has anyone else noticed trade offs?

The fact that on average it's cheaper to vape but trading in the ability to just go pick up what I need on a moment's notice.

I can almost say I am a non smoker..but I am married to a smoker!
I love my pretty batteries of every color..but cigarettes never had to be charged!
I love breathing better..hate breathing in all the allergens!

I've always had a sensitive sense of smell- it's double that now. That has it's up/down sides. I'll agree that not being able to just go get what I need on a moments notice is weird but I love the flavor choices.

Nope didn't work..he vapes them once in a while to humor me. I am afraid he won.t/can.t quit. It's offical he has now tried everything but sheer willpower.

Sorry to hear that. I'm in the same boat though. Back on analogs full time, that's one of the reasons that I haven't been around. It just isn't his time. Hopefully, some day he will be able to quit.

I've been analog free for a month now (My dang banner disappeared!) and I am finally beginning to notice smells. I've never had a great sense of smell due to allergies and what not but the past few days I've been assaulted by several strong odors. Some good and some really really bad...

1. I can smell my car now. It is a weird mix of vaping odors and leftover smoking odors. Very odd!

2. My Maine .... thinks he's the alpha kitty and doesn't cover up in the litter box. He proudly leaves a large pile on the highest mound of litter. I don't know what it is I'm feeding him that makes an odor powerful enough to asphyxiate a full grown adult human but I have GOT to change his diet before he kills me!!!

3. My appetite has been very minimal lately but it certainly isn't for lack of smelling foods. Fresh bread! Coffee! Bacon! OMG that stuff smells divine!
