Anyone use this equipment and would you recommend it. How often does the atomizer need to be changed (I understand this will depend on how much vaping and type of liquid) will the unit just stop working when the atomizer goes? Should I just replace at a particular interval?

The plastic cap on tank/mouthpiece: web site says this should be changed with every tank fill but may last longer. I have been using same end piece for about a week now (about 10 fills) Should I just replace at a particular interval? (I assume when the hole gets to big unit will start leaking)

Can you supply a link to the product you are using? That will help us help you.
Generally, when it becomes hard to drawl on or it starts tasting bad is when it should be changed. And can't the plastic cap just be cleaned by taking it off and running under some hot water?

We purchased 2 times from local TW distributor.
First was single starter kit. Tornado T. Tornado Tank Compact Starter Kit I was going to buy kit below but did not have enough cash on me and wanted to get started vaping ASAP. Will probably use this as a spare.

My wife went in and got tornado Ego C. 2 pack. Tornado eGo-C+ Classic 650mAh kit

Have had a few leak issues. Also the flavor seems to be all over the place. Some hits have great flavor while others can taste kind of burnt and or chemically. Using TW juice. Coffee, caramel and tobacco all 18 nicotine. Also have some issues after refilling getting the juice flowing. Have had to remove and reinstall tank on some refills to get juice flowing. The first few hits can be quite nasty.

Yeah, these are kinda the old style of carts + atomizer. The nasty hits are from the ejuice not getting fully to the coils and can be very yucky.

Why not have a look at 101vape.com and have a look at this
Innokin iTaste VV (V3) Express kit - 101 Vape

And try a different clearomizer. Quite easy to fill and much better flavor and longevity.

Kanger Protank II mini - 101 Vape

Give this a try. You will be amazed at the difference the vape is. You may even be able to use this one on the batteries you already have.

Hi and welcome :0) I started with this kit and had similar leakage issues. Went back to the TW shop near me and they recommended swapping the tank for a Nova RCS V3 Clearomizer. I did and it worked a treat. Stopped the leaks and flavours tasted a lot better. Hope this helps.

I have a Kanger Evod starter kit on the way. Have found web reviews are all over the place on e cigs. This unit seemed to have decent reviews on several sites I visited. The way I figure it the TW equipment we purchased has already paid for itself and got my wife and I started vaping so I can’t really complain. Will check out the links. I am sure we will be buying more units/accessories as we go.

Good news. The way I see it, once something has paid for itself, may as well be happy. :)
Just a shame TW are way behind the curve on this.

In the UK, they are still selling this stuff to new users, except none of the employees use this old-style kit.

Absolutely. Nothing wrong with Joyetech batteries. Just such a shame they were sooo slow to come to the clearomiser party.
Do they even do one yet...? I mean one designed by them?

The batteries from TW seem fine. Using 1 on my new EVOD now. The TW ego unit is ok but very touchy when/after refilling. I did see something on their web site that they partnered with someone and are offering an Evod but does not sound like it is there own.

[ The Tornado Ego-C-Twist is a fine unit and the atomizer is easily replaced when needed. In my opinion, the key to battery/atomizer long life is to have MULTIPLE units on hand, switching daily, thus extending both atomizer and battery life. I have 4 battery units and 6 heads and all are working fine after 16 months of vaping. Pay particular attention to charging. NEVER allow the unit to sit in the charger overnight. When fully charged, remove from the charger immediately, and battery life can be extended by NOT allowing it to completely discharge, charging when the unit is about 50% depleted. You can find generic 1100MAH units online for as little as $5-$7 and they perform as well as the name brands.
