Too Much Airflow?

Hey yas!

Been vaping since December of last year, but never ran across this problem until now. I'd have posted this in the Vapor4life section, but due to limitations, no go.

Anyhow, I got a new battery from them (vapor4life vaporking shorty diamond series) and it seems to have too much air getting into it. None of the other batteries from them do this... makes me think I have a bad seal. It is like this.. I can't take a pull off it like a cig. Have to hit it like we did back in the days with the special ones we rolled ourselves... if ya get what I mean. But I checked everything I could think of. I raised the middle parts on both carts and the battery itself. It appears to be getting a good connection and seal. I could be wrong though.

Anyone have any ideas at all? Anything I can try? Must be something I missed. I hate to bug them for a replacement considering this was a replacement itself for one that would no longer hold a charge. :/

Are there two tiny air holes where the cartomizer and battery connect? If so, put your finger over one of them as you draw on it. You should get a warmer vape If that works you can put a piece of tape over one of the holes. Good luck.

There are four tiny rectangle like holes around where they meet. I covered two and it was better. Covered three of the four and perfection! Works like a charm now.

Suppose I will keep a small roll of electrical tape around when I use this snazzy new battery from now on. heh

Glad that worked. Found that tip on YouTube my first week vaping when I couldn't get a good enough draw with my mall ecig. Saved me from buying real cigs. Guy also suggests to cup your hand over the end of the ecig where it lights up for a better vape while covering the hole.

That is a similar trick I used to do when I was smoking cigs. I noticed that there was little tiny holes that goes around the filter of the cig and when I covered it with my finger the hits I was getting was way stronger. Only way to get a stronger hit after that was to break off the whole filter. lol

I've never used tape, but a carto condom with the end cut off fits perfect and can
be trimmed / adjusted to cover as many or few holes as desired.
