We definitely have similar tastes in music. I like some of Phil Collins stuff with Genesis. Check out the video to "I Can't Dance". I like the song and the video is funny.

lol...He's only good for me when I don't want any bedroom play, since his music is sooo "touching" to the wife! It inspires, 'cuddling.' Real mood killer, that cuddling is.
That is interesting because i've been trying to determine exactly what it is about analog smoking i feel and where. Havent seen a thread where people say "what throat hit / lung hit" means to them.
I haven't actually nailed it yet but I think for me it's density of smoke combined with a bit of raspiness passing my throat. In the lungs it's more of a tingle... i think.
One thing i never hear mentioned but is very important to me for that feeling of satisfaction is the sensation as I exhale. Right now with just vaping / dripping it feels too much like air as it leaves.
Okay, here are some things that I have tried to increase throat hit(asside from finding the suitable consistency/ingredients of the liquids being used)
The poor man's manual switch (or .... technique)
Using the DSE901.
During first use while atomizer is cool.
Using either your index finger or thumb(which ever is most comfortable)
1)I covered the hole while sucking to engage the battery, heating up the atomizer till the DSE901 went to safe mode. I have only felt the need to do this once after taking long vape breaks.
2)I again covered the hole for approximately 2-3 seconds while sucking then released (while continuing to suck till safemode or before) and received an intense amount of heated vapor filling my mouth.
3)with a momentary pause and an abrupt inhale....Throat hit was good, but felt like I dragged a cigar.
I again tried this by dripping 3-4 drops on the atomizer and not using the cartridge, as I sometimes prefer this method better.....
The results for me were even hotter. (just be sure that you don't try to stick your tongue into the atomizer casing)
With the M401/DSE401(2 hole)...since they already produce good throat hits, it seemed a little negligible since I already receive intense vapor and heat. Don't even try it with out the cart.
The Super mini RN4081(2 hole) again, similar to the M401 by results...but who knows, if you have mediocre results with this model...give this a try. I was able to use the drip technique without the cart. Which to me improves any vaping experience provided your particular model allows you to do this. Atomizer wick must be reasonably below the top of the inner casing to be safe.
Covering both wholes takes both index and thumb and releasing either one.

Hey I didn't go though all the thread.... did any one try the Jalapeno juice suggestion? I feel bad for people who go to a 36mg nicotine level to get throat hit (TH) when a few drops of Jalapeno juice will do the the trick at a zero level nicotine. I promise with my suggestion of using a tiny bit jalapeno juice you will not be complaining of TH from ecigs ever again.
EDO, I'm one of those who went to 36 mg for a decent throat hit and didn't find it that good anyway. I'm thinking of trying your J-juice idea but spicy foods (curries, garlic bread etc.) make me sick. Does this stuff leave a spicy taste in your mouth or make your breath smell?
Adik Ted....I use cigar/French Pipe/Cured Tobacco eliquids. It doesn't change the taste in those at all. I don't think it makes a difference in smell and doesn't leave spicy after taste either....but this is for me. One thing I have found by reading these forums every one has different tastes....so you have to try it out for yourself and see if you like it. Try it out in one of your eliquids that is lower in nicotine level and then compare it to your 36mg stuff.
hi, i use the intellicig evo,"have only this one", when i bought it ,about 2 months ago i had 2 atomisers with it,i used 18mg 24mg and 36 mg tw liquid, i felt the larger throat hit with the 36mg one, probably higher doze of nic.I felt few, almost nothing with the 18mg.then few weeks ago i bought another 5 atomisers from intellicig,which i noticed that are differnet from the ones i had, they have some white plastic inside,that support the steel wick. i tried them, but felt no throat hit at all, it's like smoking only water.But lots of smoke. I tried experimenting with one of them, broke the plastic off, had to cut the wick from one side, and vaped with it,,surprisingly, had better throat hit, that the older ones. Removed the plastic from another one, but still remained the same as before, So i think it depends even from the assembling of the atomisers,probably the one i tried first heats up more than the second one. If anyone uses an evo,,do you have the same problem with throat hit?? When these atomisers will burn after few months, I think I'll have to change Ecig..
So nicotine value changes the amount of throat hit(my opinion using the evo), but mostly the atomiser, even the battrey, but with the evo, there's no problem, as it gives you the same power till the end..

You said "we". That pretty much says you are speaking for you as well as others. WE.. is more than ME. And I've already clearly established that there are those of us who want it to look like smoking.
I have no attitude issues, I do have issues when I keep seeing the same people say the same things dispite the question. Again, with all do respect, to some people it isnt always about mods and manual switches? Can you agree with that?

EDO: Ok, i got some pickled jalepeno slices and tried a drop in 10... nothing. Then i tried 2, then 4...nothing. Then i took out a slice, shook it off and squeezed some juice out into a spoon (man we sound like junkies). I mixed 2 J in 10 drops of e-juice and still nothing. I took a nible of a slice and yeah its spicy but not seeming to increase TH nor do i taste anything.
I 100% agree with the original poster. I discovered this method shortly after buying the 901. I have used the 401 and 901, and find both to require a slightly different method of inhaling. The 901 i take a easy steady hit, and hold it in my mouth. When im done i then inhale. This gives me the best hit.
personally i take a few small puffs before taking a puff for a few reasons
1st it heats up the atomizer allowing it to be more efficient.
2nd it produces both good vapour and throat kick
