I tried some of Vixen Vapor's 555 the other day. (I just got a small sample bottle) All I can say is WOW! I tried it in a 50/50 blend and it was fantastic. Not too sweet, just the right amount of nuttiness. I can't figure out what the nut flavor is, it's almost like a very mild hazlenut or almond or a mix of both.
They use real tobacco extract and can mix it up any way you like it.

My first 555 was from SI and I was hooked on the first vape, I enjoyed the Hazelnut component and to me, it was the most flavorful juice they carried.

The 555 has become my flavor of choice at work, after finishing the SI 555 @12mg, I purchased the Madvapes Hangsang 3&5 @11mg, which was ~$5 cheaper for 30ml but I got the 5ml sample, it had the nutty component with a bit less sweetness and some earthiness I found more enjoyable. I also bought the Smoketek T5 @18mg, 30ml for $7.00, same nuttiness and sweetness with only a hint of earthiness, I'm loving this as well. My third purchase was MaddCatt "The Schlam", advertised as a Nutty Tobacco, 30ml @12mg $17.00, I just received it and I'm letting it steep for a couple of weeks before sampling.

Currently on taste alone, I would rate the Hansang 3&5 @8.25/10 because I enjoyed the nutty flavor of Hazelnut & a hint of Peanut, and the earthy component added a fullness to the flavor. T5 would be second @8/10, a clean nutty flavor with the right amount of sweetness. The SI 555 comes in @7/10, really good nut flavor that's diminished a bit by the sweetness right next to it, not too bad from a Company that specializes in hardware.

I'll post my observations on "The Schlam" when I do a taste test next Sunday, though it won't get a full day of vaping til the 3&5 and T5 are gone, the T5 is kept at work and I have the 3&5 home for the occasional drip vape as a break from my other juices.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who enjoys 555, I've read plenty of posts that knock this flavor and praise RY4, which I find too sweet and not as satisfying.

Hmmmm. Sounds good. I'm gonna have to try some of that. Thanks for further depleting my bank account.

I also like the RY4's, of which I have many. I go back and forth between those and the 555's but mainly the 555's while at work.
This is my breakdown on my 555's.

I have found the 555 juices fall into two distinct categories.

1. Traditional - Those that try to stay true to the original. When I say 'original' I am assuming Dekang as the original. ( I have no idea if any of these are true to the State Express 555 cigarette having never tasted that brand and I highly doubt any come close to tasting like an actual cigarette.)

2. Artistic License - Those that use the 'concept' of the 555 and create a truly original flavor.

I am enjoying both groups for the most part.

This is how I have grouped my admittedly limited 555 sampling.

Traditional:

Dekang 3&5
Smokeless Image 555
Elixir Liquid 555
Kick Bass Vapor 555 (They claim to have 'rediscovered' the lost DK 555 flavor and it is very good)

Artistic License:

Spring Vapor Black Label 555
Backwoods Brew 555 Exotic
Mountain Oaks Vapor Smokey Mountain 555
Alien Visions 555
Mister E Liquid 616 (don't care for this one...kind of strange to me)

From the sounds of this thread I will have to add a few more : )

I'll have to add that one to my list also. You guys are gonna make me go broke.

I'm sampling my BWB 555 Exotic today. Thoughts coming up later.

What other tobaccos have you tried from TVR? I've only had their 555 and TVR RY4 so far, plus a few samples. Oh, and 555 Menthol (that tastes like all menthol to me, but it's good for a change-up now and then, or to add to something else).

I just got back into vapeing about three weeks ago and the only 555 that I have tried was from myfreedomsmokes and I remember that I liked it a lot. Has anyone tried theirs? I plan to make an order from Ahlusion and GeJ soon, not sure if either of them have a 555, but if they do I'll have to pick some up to give it a go again.

NLV's Line Rider for me has a fuller, smoother, nuttier flavor than any other 555 I've tried, but I've pretty much given up on him because of his constant lack of stock and now this whole card vendor problem thing. It's very frustrating, so I would love to find a 555 that tastes similar to me. AVE's doesn't come close to me in flavor, BB's standard 555 neither and his exotic just tastes off to me. I'm going to try some others listed in this thread (have wanted to try Frisco but again their lack of stock with that whole weird batch thing for *months* turned me off of them). I welcome suggestions from anyone who has tried (and liked) Line Rider and finds another juice to be comparable.

Here goes, I just got a bottle of BWB 555e. Figured I'd give it a try fresh, then once it's aged I'll be able to do a comparison with myself :p

5:24pm
First impression... it's a lot like a Black & Blue pipe tobacco, or maybe a Ideal blend. Definitely a blended pipe tobacco taste. A little nutty on the inhale with a hint of dark chocolate and the bite of a Burley tobacco. Dry on the exhale with a very slight rose floral and nutmeg linger. Nice. I may update this throughout the evening. Maybe with a bit of Four Roses Single Barrel. Just looked at the clock, much too early for that ;)

8:23pm
It's not too early now. Goes very well with a little Bourbon. (Can I say that? This is an adult forum.) Works very well with the vanilla and caramel notes.

I placed an order with Spring Vapor - really wanted to try their 555, but went ahead and got the Black Label sampler pack.

I'm back on the Vapor Room 555 exclusively right now as I have been having a reaction to several different juices lately and the 555 has not been bothering me. This was my first all day vape and I still love it, though at times it seems a bit mild.

It seems that darker juices are giving me problems - stomach ache, a weird rash, and just not feeling well. Initially I thought it was PG, but some high VG juices (Boba's and HHV) have been bothering me too. I'm bummed because I can't vape my favorites right now - HHV and Kentucky Premium especially.

Got my KBV 555 today and it smells good, letting it steep before I try it and BWB's 555 Exotic. Got TVR 555 on the way, and now I have to go check out Vixen Vapors 555.
What is it about 555 that a select few, like us, keep looking for the perfect one? I just know that when I first started vaping it was one of my all time favorite vapes, but in the passing years trying so many juices, 555 kinda got lost for me.
But I crave it now, so I'm going to keep on hunting till I find the one that takes me to 555 bliss :)
