I have one. If you are looking for big vapor and throat hit then this unit will leave you less than satisfied. I bought mine when they first came out after a rather harsh desire to buy a pack a smokes after 7 months of vaping. I was mifffed by this sudden need and started researching some devices and came across the ploom. I bought several types of Pod's and the kit.

Well when the ploom arrived I was excited to try it. It does produce nice flavor but vapor is really lacking. It is almost like smoking that cig you tried to put back together after it was broke in half. The unit looks nice but does anyone remember the cheap refillable lighters???? They always worked great out of the box but after two or three refills you wanted to throw the damned thing against the wall. The unit is much like that.

I would suggest that anyone looking to buy one that you spend your money on a top end MOD instead. The ploom is a good idea but it just won't satisfy someone who has been vaping.

Yah I wondered about the throat hit issue, it does look pretty weak in that department. And as MJ said, it is a bit expensive, its like 50 cents a pod. I think I just like the innovative gadget aspect of it  And I did like the idea that it was actually tobacco that you were vaping, which makes the taste more realistic and higher quality. But as L2S said, it does look like it was cheaply made. Thanks for your advice fellow vapers!

I've had a Ploom for a while. It's sat unused as I found it a bit lackluster initially. Decided to give it another go the other day, and I am enjoying it much more than before. When I first tried it I was still having a few cigarettes a day. Now that I am 100% vape and not chain-inhaling even the e-cig, the Ploom is much more satisfying for a here-and-there change.

I also seem to have a much better technique for inhaling it, getting much larger hits of vapor. It's still subtle, but the throat hit makes it more enjoyable. I think letting it warm back up in between vapes is the key. I'm no longer trying to use it like a cigarette. More like how you sip wine.

There's something more enjoyable about the warm analog vapor than the vapor from e-juice. I'll still be mainly using my Vmod and Backwoods Brew Peach, but I'm going to be using the Ploom a lot more now I think.
